This product does not have the hydroquinone 4% bleaching cream in it. The hydroquinone is the main ingredient that made the 'original' clear work so well even though you have to be careful when you use it. This formula is less effective and takes much longer to get results. As of today I have not noticed any improvement but as I indicated it probably takes months to see results. This product is safer but again results if any probably take much longer to see. At this point, I don't know how long it takes to see results as I haven't seen any change. If you are looking for the original clear THIS IS NOT IT. You have to purchase from another retailer and be sure to read the ingredients.

I have been used obagi nu-derm clearfx skin brightening cream for 4 years ,I have very sensitive skin but have not had any problem using obagi product at all .I wash my face with obagi gentle cleanser pro then apply obagi nu-derm toner and follow with obagi nu-derm clearfx skin brightening cream twice a day in the morning and at night before go to bed .It definitely makes a difference with my skin since i using obagi nu-derm clearfx skin brightening cream my skin is softer and glowing .My husband and my friends saw a difference .

FAKE, COUNTERFEIT, BEWARE!!! I’ve been using the Obagi Nu-Derm system for 18 years, and started buying my Obagi products on Overstock over a year ago despite knowing its not an authorized dealer because the products were so cheap. Too cheap, as it turns out. . The consistency and smell seemed right at first but I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin - I noticed the product wasn’t working anymore. I recently bought a couple of Obagi products from an authorized dealer and difference is dramatic. All “Obagi” products sold on Overstock are clearly fake and it concerns me that I trusted site like Overstock carries counterfeit items. When a popular item is less than half the price you should be concerned about it’s authenticity. In an effort to save money I ended up throwing it away for over a year on products that were worthless.

This is a good product. It does take longer to see any changes because it doesn't have the hydroquinolone in it. For a person in their 20's-30's this would be good. I would recommend the Obagi-C products for someone with "aging" skin.

Love Obagi. I was skeptical buying Obagi from Overstock worrying it may be old. This was fresh and current. The price was better than some of the other websites I was purchasing from. Obagi is a great product for aging skin.

I received my Obagi line of products from overstock with major concerns. I asked that the Company replace at the very least the products that came with broken seals. This protects us as the consumers from environmental contamination as well as other possible exposures. I explain to the department that handles such complaints that such exposure may have caused the product to yellow. Since I have used Obaji for over a decade I expected The same great results I always had. I have no skin complications or sensitivities and simply use the product as a part my skin care routine. However I am shocked that a company such as overstock has been so unobliging in helping me resolve this matter. After almost a month in seeking resolution and going through this I feel like just a number and as if I’ve been beaten out of my money. I planned on making many other purchases with Overstock however after this experience I have to take all of my money and time waged into account. This has by far been the worst online experience I’ve ever had. I have only received robotic like emails stating their policy and no actual call back from the specific department that was to assist in the matter.

Answers: Cosmetic products are not required to have a printed expiration date. The expected shelf life of a cosmetic product is 12 to 36 months depending on storage and if opened/used. Obagi recommend replacing the product after it has been open for one year.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you are using it along with Obagi Nu-derm Exfoderm or Exfoderm Forte based on your skin type. Also, do your research on "Obagi Nu Derm Clear" VS "Obagi Nu Derm Clear FX". I got Obagi Nu Derm Clear FX accidentally because of the low price but the results are not the same. "Obagi Nu Derm Clear", which is the original works a ton a lot better.

I would not suggest using the retinol cream during the day due to the effect that the sun has on this product. If you are inside during the day and not going into the sunlight, I would use it during the day. Always use 1, 2, 3 before applying the retinol cream. By doing this, you will get the results that you are trying to achieve.
