Abbyson Aspen Red Bonded Leather Foldable Futon Sleeper Sofa

The sofa color is a bright tomato red, as pictured on the product page, and the item is sturdy and versatile as a sofa, a sleeper, or one of each (for, say, a toddler taking a nap on a folded-down half while you're reading on the upright half). It was simple to put together, and converting it from a sofa to a sleeper and back again couldn't be easier. As seating, it's pretty comfortable; as a sleeper, not so much -- particularly in the area between the seat cushions and back cushions. I've had this sofa for roughly 2.5 years and the bonded leather (which I call "pleather" or "vegan leather" -- lol) has held up remarkably well.

I am using this as the couch in an eclectic TV room. Although it's firm it's quite comfortable. It's also very sturdy. The red is beautiful. The only thing is that there is a weird "pulling" of the material on the bottom of one side of the back that you can see very clearly when looking at the couch from the front. It's like diagonal wrinkles. I just put a cushion there and it's fine. It's used as one of the main places people sit to watch TV, and so far after about six months the material has held up well with no visible wear and tear, even though it's just bonded leather. Actually, it still looks new. I get lots of comments on how great it looks and how comfortable it is. I've used it as a bed once, and the guest said that it was more comfortable than a lot of fold outs. They did have to sleep diagonally, however, since it is really kind of like "extra-extra-long-love seat" size. Also I should mention that the bonded leather means it is very comfortable in the heat--much much more so than PU! All in all, great buy for the price.

How it looks like after two years of use

This leather sofa is perfect for my home office which now can double as a guest bed if needed. The leather is soft and the color is accurate. The delivery was fast and timely.

We are MORE than pleased with this futon. It is very attractive, comfortable, and adds a fun addition to my grey/red livingroom. It was so easy to put the legs on, and walla...it was up and ready to use.

I wanted something contemporary in a warm red leather to ad an eclectic bit of zing to the room. I was delighted to find this sofa. Very easy to attach the legs. Very sturdy. And it folds down into quite a comfortable bed.

I love love this sofa. The red is a vibrant red and the bonded leather looks great. It's bigger than I expected which made me love it even more. It would look great in any room.

Great sofa and it ships to your house with UPS. Amazing how they designed this sofa. Perfect for condos or smaller rooms.

We loved this couch so much I also bought one in white for my sons room. It turns into a bed futon style but if your tall it may not work as a bed. We keep a foam topper in the closet for when it gets slept on. The color is cherry red and it shipped fairly quickly.

How it looks like after two years of use

This was the second attempt to get this couch, a NEW one. Unfortunately, this couch has visible color defects right in the center. We thought it was a mean joke sending us the defective couch for the second time in a row. Very frustrating.

When it arrived it was real easy to assemble, once I found the parts zipped into the bottom of the futon. It is a little smaller than expected, but overall a decent look for the price point it is at. I am not sure anyone can really sleep on it except very small people or a casual inebriated friend. Overall good value for the money.

I love this sofa/bed we use it a lot when our kids come home to visit it sleeps well too. We have it in a small bedroom it fits perfectly I would recommend this to a friend.

Extremely functional and looks great in my contemporary living room! I love that I CAN lay it out if I need an extra place for someone to lay, BUT it is NOT comfortable to sleep on.

Love how it lays flat for grandkids and company to sleep on. Very comforable too, especially for short folks to sit on.

Bought it for our office for the waiting room. It has held up well, still looks like new and adds a powerful element of color along with modern style.

Absolutely love this futon. The red color is perfect. It is a true, true red...looks exactly as it is in the photos. The leather quality is nice, and it is very comfortable to sit on. My thirteen year old did the minimal assembly in 20 minutes. Very happy with this purchase!
