This table is exactly what I was looking for, for the price. The style is beautiful and matches our outdoor deck perfectly. And so far this summer, we've eaten dinner out there almost every night. We really love it. I admit that it's not the highest quality...meaning, the table legs aren't heavy wood...and the finish is not very "thick" and will definitely fade if I don't oil it. . BUT, the lighter-weight nature of the table is also kind of a positive for me, since I love how easy it is to move, if needed (especially the benches, if I want to pull them in and out). Other tables are so heavy and hard to move and can scratch up the paint on our deck. So I really love this! And I actually want to buy another but it's been out of stock for a few months here on Overstock. PLEASE get this back in! I need another for when we have company over!

The benches arrived first and I just assembled one. The instructions are simple and straightforward. It took me about 20 minutes. This is a steal. Solid wood, well-made. The legs are a milk-white low-gloss finish and the top is a rich chestnut brown, very nice. I am surprised more people have not reviewed it. I think it is because this is not quite an outdoor set? I'm not sure how well it would withstand the elements, but if you have a covered outdoor area it would be fine. I am using the table as a desk. The benches are just a bonus! I'll find a place for them. At *** the bench itself would cost the same as this whole set on Overstock. Very very pleased.

We got this table in March and I would say by May or June it was already a little rough. Now it's September and it looks absolutely horrible. How can this be an outdoor table if it is going to warp and splinter? Do not spend any money on this.

do not get this! After one year all the wood on top has peeled and warped up. I have oiled and oiled to try to keep from doing so, but no luck. Really a terrible piece of furniture and now I am past the return policy. ugg

Good question. I haven't seen any information on that, but I personally wouldn't hesitate putting three 175 lb adults on each bench if needed. They do feel sturdy to me.
