I wanted a tray to place on my Ottoman to keep tv remotes other things on while I sat on the couch. This tray performs this perfectly. It's larger size and lack of a raised border helps make this tray even more useful. I have a set of coasters on it for drinks and will even drop down a full plate of food. Its made of solid wood and has a very nice finish to it. My only initial annoyance was that the metal handles aren't actually attached to the wood which simply lays on top. So if the tray was to be flipped or pushed up on underneath in the middle it would come apart. Fortunately this has never seemed to happen so far so it's a non issue for me currently. I may decide later on to bolt it to the frame to make sure its secure. Overall I would definitely recommend this tray.

Beautiful rich finish and texture on the wood. Since it is in a metal frame I will add four tiny silicone feet to protect my surfaces.
