At the age of 67, I have assembled many pieces of furniture, either to save money, or to get the features I wanted. This chaise was the WORST assembly experience ever! The "instructions" were vague, and the sketches were so vague that you could not tell where to attach each piece. After much trial and error, I then discovered that the pieces did not always match up to the holes, and had to force parts together while at the same time inserting the screws. That said, this is exactly what I wanted in an outdoor chaise. The material is more comfortable than a solid plastic or wood surface would be, and the back DOES fold down flat for sunbathing on your stomach, contrary to what the Q&A section says. That answer may have been to indicate that the chair can't fold up for storage. I will post photos of the misalignment of parts, the actual instructions, and a shot of how the chair can go down flat.

This chair is durable. More than I even thought it would be based on some reviews. That said, it is not as durable as the deck/lounge chairs at our community pool, but for the cost, it is actually pretty sturdy. The fabric is really strong. Other reviewers have noted the rusty water that drips out and we also saw rusty water. I just tip it on the grass and it seems fine. If it rusts out in 5 or 10 years, I won't be broken hearted over that for the cost. If you want to pay 2x or 4x as much for a longer lasting chair, then do that but I truly think for the money, it is a really nice chair. My wife loves it and that is really all that matters to me :) I'm a big dude. 6' 3" tall and 215 lbs and this chair holds me just fine. Doesn't sag and I can lay on it for hours.

The lounge was an excellent buy; in fact, I just bought a second one. It folds easily, is light weight for carrying, and storage options are perfect for us. I can hang on a hook or slide it under a shelf. I was thrilled to be able to find the silver coated lounge that matches my current patio set. The shipping was very fast and made it earlier than expected.

Changed review from 5 stars to 1. After sitting in our screened in porch for less than 3 months, the rust from standing water within the side framing is ridiculous. It took some power washing to clean the rust from the concrete floor. These would be okay chairs if used in a dry climate, or if put away when not in use, but from personal experience, we wouldn't recommend. We are giving these away with full disclosure so no one else has this experience.

Purchased 4 of these at the beginning 2017 summer (we live in upstate NY). Water gets inside the chair's metal frame and orange water then spills out. So this happens after every rain shower and after hosing them off. They look nice but the annoyance of constantly cleaning up orange puddles of water on my concrete outweighs that. I don't believe these chairs will last too long. I wish we would have bought two Telescope brand lounge chairs for the same price as four of these. It would have been money better spent. Also, they are NOT stackable. - we forgot to look at that before ordering. Storage will be a pain. I do NOT recommend buying this chair.

They look more slender than they appear in the web photo. Neutral color would work in most settings; used poolside in a shaded area.

Love this chair it’s comfortable for out on the deck reading a book. In the sun. Would make for great chaise by a pool as well. Couldn’t be happier with my chaise lounge.

    • A:

I dont think so no. The fabric is pretty tough. Its quite a stiff & sturdy fabric in my opinion

    • A:

I think the fabric would be fine. The overall construction is not super duty, like the lounge chairs at our community pool but it's actually pretty sturdy and the fabric is really the best part of the chair. Really strong. (Other reviewers have noted the rusty water that drips out and we also saw rusty water. I just tip it on the grass and it seems fine. If it rusts out in 5 or 10 years, I won't be broken hearted over that).

I bought these chairs and after the first rain they started rusting inside and rusty water came out of the frame, staining my deck.
