Purchased for open shelving in kitchen. Shelves are laminate, not real wood and piping is more dark brown than black. If purchasing, when putting together, we would recommend putting whole shelf together and then securing to wall. The process went much faster that way. Overall we are pleased with the result and the price.

Was really super excited to find this type of shelf at overstock.com. Originally found it at other retailer and really wanted to buy it ever since. And then I found it here. Assembly was fast and easy. Really, there is no need for an instruction. If u need an instruction for that, you probably need an instruction how to brush your teach every morning. We knew that the shelves itself are not a real wood etc. Even knowing that thou, when you put it all together then you see it in a new different light. Kind of disappointing. Somehow you don't even wanna put it up on the wall, wherever that wall is. But we did. Our intention was bathroom of course. Firstly really unhappy about the look and the whole feel of it. The color of the pipes is really more like a chocolate, the shelves look superplastic so as the pipes itself. I wish there would be more of the actual rustic/industrial look into it as we hoped and wanted. But no. Not with this piece. However. After we placed few items on the shelves it started to look much better and we are falling for it slowly. So give it a try. It is not amazing. It is not perfect. But you might actually like it at the end.

Just purchased this shelving along with the Furniture of America Revo Industrial Distressed Wall Mirror and Dayna B. 4 Tier Corner Rustic Pipe Shelf. They are absolutely fabulous looking in our son's bedroom! He was wanting a new grown-up look with a modern flare, and this created just the alternative from a sports theme. Each piece is beautifully designed and very sturdy. The wood is faux wood, but looks genuine from a distance. All three pieces do not match, but we add a touch of spray paint to the piping of one set to match in order to tie it in. Also, the room is spacious enough that we were able to install the pieces on walls away from each other and the rest of the decor is all rustic that it does not matter. Overall, it is absolutely gorgeous.

Item came faster than anticipated. While the shelves appeared thinner in the picture about 2 inches that are about an inch bigger. The unit is easy to assemble and install. Good solid construction.

Danya B. Tier Faux Wood industrial pipe wall shelf— This shelving unit is perfect in our guest bathroom. I purchased small baskets for storage and rolled towels and placed them on the shelf. I am getting ready to purchase two more for the laundry room. Easy to install, love the color of wood!!!👍🏼👍🏼

This three tier shelf is actually really pretty in person. Just so you know, though, the "wood" is another color than what you would think based off the picture shown. It almost has a yellowish sorta tint to it, but not in an ugly way. I just wanted to advise that in case someone was really wanting it to match something else. I ordered the industrial mirror to be placed next to it, and they match just fine. Note, also, that the shelves are not real wood, they are fake with a laminate image of wood on them, but yet has the texture of wood, too. They are truly pretty! Much larger than we expected, too. Also, the shelves did come with some slight damage to them; however, one simple call and a photo to OverStock, and their amazing customer service team was responsive and impressive in resolving my issues!

My son had no shelves in his apartment. We bought this three tier faux wood industrial pipe shelf and the matching two tiered shelf to give him a place to put his stuff. They definitely add a look of masculinity to his man cave apartment and are very sturdy. He loves them.

I just assembled the shelving unit. The piping is so unique. I am waiting to put in on the wall until I get a complementary book case- which I just found. Piece of cake to assemble I just installed it on the wall. It comes with a paper layout that you tape on the wall where you want the shelf. Line up the supports and mark the holes. I recommend using more sturdy anchors and screws. The ones that came are likely fine but I wasn’t confident. It looks great. I highly recommend this

This set of three shelves is very modern and rustic for my small apartment was the one item I needed on a small wall to finish things off. Made it extremely well and easy to hang up. I recommend this if you're looking for something modern and Industrial

I was very excited for this to arrive but it wasn't quite what I expected. The quality isn't superb but the overall look is nice. The metal part is much more chocolate brown than it seemed in the pictures. The shelves themselves are not a solid wood plank like I was expecting but are a hollow core type of item with what seems like a printed sticker type wrap. The benefit of the shelving material is that it makes them very light. They also appear more of a brown tone than the gray brown I was hoping for. Overall not bad but if you are looking for high quality this may not be for you.

We love this wooden shelf, nice, heavy and sturdy! Love the design with the Iron pipes, really very stylish. We also purchased the mirror that is designed like the shelf! Excellent purchase!

Great look...SOLID when mounted. Wish the pipe was black but otherwise fits the look I wanted for the dining room wall. Faux finish looks terrific...just be sure to choose the most “stressed” look to place out from the wall as the “manufactured aging” lines on the edge make BIG (complimentary) difference. Assembly instructions could be simpler..and the template did the job BUT with my modifications to rescue the installation from visual imbalance. I have one more for the bedroom and, frankly, not too excited about repeating the process...however, the look is wellll worth it. Enjoy!

The three tier industrial wall shelf is perfect for my space. It was very easy to hang and even came with a wall mount guide. It is a very good deal and would be perfect in a college dorm or somewhere where space is an issue.

I purchased the Three Tier Faux Wood Industrial Pipe Wall Shelf to place in a tight area in a hallway. The Shelf fit perfectly and is very sturdy. I added some adhesive hooks myself to hang some mugs and it worked perfectly for what I wanted. Only gave four stars because it was a lot later than was shown in the pictures.

I shopped a lot of sites for similar shelf but I liked this one bcuz the shelves look like old grayed barn wood. Excellent detail. Note the makers name. The shelves are covered (faux wood) but look very real. No seems at any of the edges. Pretty light weight. The metal looks good & feels like metal but if you want real pipes, it is not quite there. The joints show soldering material. Pipes are painted well & are dark brown. It’s a little overpriced but it’s exactly the look I was going for. I’m glad I bought it & I’d buy it again.

I really love the way this shelf looks, it was exactly what I wanted. The pipe shelving is real metal, and it is a fairly dark brown. Yes, the "wood" is not real and is has a greenish cast, but it looks fine. I don't mind mixing different colors of wood. My husband put it together in a short time, he put it together before mounting it on the wall.
