Handmade Del Hutson Designs True Floating Shelf and Towel Rack

I like this shelf set overall. It’s perfect in the bathroom to add to the overall farmhouse look I have. Installing the shelf was pretty easy if you follow the instructions and make sure it is perfectly level. The drywall anchors they give you are HUGE (probably slightly smaller than a dime in width) so you will need a large drill bit to make the pilot holes, but the drywall anchors are needed especially for the heavier shelf with the towel holder. On the shelf with the towel holder, the towel holder itself was larger than the shelf, leaving a gap where the screw could be seen (see picture). Upon opening the package, the gap was probably a good inch long, but I was able to screw it in to around a 1/2 inch.

Overall I'm very disappointed. The wood is literally a 2 x 6. Not sanded or treated with care in any way except stained. The brackets are great, but the aren't routed into the shelf, so once hung, the shelf actually sticks out from the wall about 3/8". You need to buy your own drywall anchors, because the ones they send are very poor grade plastic and every single one broke on the way in. At first, this was the tops breaking off. Then I started preselling them. This worked for 2, but almost every single anchor, the nubs that allow the Phillips bit to hold just snapped/rubbed off because the plastic is so week and soft. Also, our towel bar was just missing.

Great quality shelf and rack! I had initially planned to just get a towel rack for the bathroom, but I love that this offers the option of hanging a towel as well. I love the natural look of the wood and the finish on the towel bar as well. Delivery was quick and easy.

These shelves are very true to the photo. Perfect size for a small bathroom. The color of the shelves is sort of a walnut brown color. Looks nice with the metal towel bar. They mount on the wall easily with the floating shelf brackets. Nice and sturdy. Would recommend.

I like the way these shelves look. it is perfect for the farmhouse look. however the way they attach to the wall and the towel rack is really heavy it makes the shelf tilt down some.

These shelves are perfect for my bathroom, I can get rid of the ugly towel holder! I could make them myself but it would be just another added project, well worth the price!

These are beautiful heavy floating shelf and towel rack. I bought them for a house warming gift and the couple loved these rustic well made shelves. I would definitely buy them for my house except I don’t have a spot to hang them.

I ordered this a few months ago and just now opened it for our new home and it came without the towel bar piece. Pretty disappointing as I cannot use this product or return it.

These shelves appeared exactly as pictured right out of the box. They came with all necessary hardware. As others have noted you can see the screws on the side of the towel holder.

I received the wrong item. Overstock has been decent about getting it returned but you can tell the emails from customer service are automated. You definitely have to call and talk to a person to get it sorted out

Once I got them up on the wall they looked good. One of my shelves arrived with some damage near the one of the holes so I was worried that it wouldn't hang right but it did. It shipped fast and only took 35 minutes to hang up on the wall. I do recommend this item.

Very rustic design used these for my powder room easy to install the white color is more of a whitewash . Really like shelves highly recommend

I love these shelves, they go perfect in my house. My husband being a finish carpenter was a little mad at me. Because we wanted them in the bathroom he urethaned them. They are just pieces of rough cut pine. I love them!!!

I really like these. Very easy to install. They are bigger than I thought, so make sure you measure your space carefully.

I bought these shelves to go in my bathroom so I could have storage space and a place for my towels since my bathroom is small. This worked out great. Love the design. Very good product
