Handmade Seesham Wood Coffee Table (India)

This table looks as good as the picture. At least it does now. It arrived with some paint and soldering flaws on the legs. After contacting Overstock and requesting new legs, they sent an entirely new table with legs that had only slight soldering irregularities (small smooth lumps where the screw caps are hidden). We assembled the new legs without any difficulty and are totally pleased with the product and the service. I recently saw a similarly designed product from Pottery Barn with a price tag that took it out of my buying range. I am glad to be able to have this style at the price offered on Overstock.

Like some of the other reviews, this metal ends were scratched and scuffed (on the top part that faces up) and there were sharp pieces that snagged the rug I put it on. I actually returned the first one because of the scratched metal, but the replacement also had it. By this time, I needed a coffee table and it was very difficult to unassemble the first one and get the bulky pieces to fit perfectly in the box, so for ease, I kept the second one with the scratches. The piece of wood is beautiful, however I've had it a few months now and the wood scratches very easily. If I did it all over again, I wouldn't keep it. But it is quite attractive beyond the flaws.

Love my coffee table. It has a beautiful grain and small hand made imperfection that makes it unique. Just make sure the legs are 18” high because I did have to return the first on because it was 16” tall.

This is a beautiful table and great combination of wood and metal. The square shape is ideal for our 12x12 front-of-the-house media room (originally designed to be a formal dining room). It arrived promptly and was simple to put together. Only the two metal "legs" had to be put on. All of the needed hardware and tools came with it. It is one of my favorite purchases from Overstock.

I had to return it the first time as there was a big gush on the table and the meta legs had some sharp surface that could easily scratch or cut you. Legs looked bent after attaching them. My husband had to put washer to make it straight. All in all a beautiful rustic piece and a great buy for the price.

Top has a good scratch, like split wood almost and all 4 corners of the legs were scuffed up. I returned it, but really liked the look of the table minus the damage. I did not replace it though, as it ended up being too short for my oversized sofas anyway. If that wasnt the case, I would have reordered this table, it really was beautiful! Return process was super easy on this item

This was easy to assemble, is very sturdy, and is made of lovely solid wood. Very happy with this purchase!

It is a beautiful piece of wood with a nice sheen. You only have to bolt the sides to the wood on each side, which doesn't take long. A wrench is provided and that's all you need to put it together.The metal is blackened iron. It is true to picture.

IN LOVE with this table!!! I purchased the large size. First of all, it was packaged VERY well! No chance of scratches or dents happening with this table. Nice heavy table. When I was attaching the legs the holes weren't lining up at first. I have the leg on the wrong side. There are no instructions but rather numbered stickers on either side of the table that match up to the legs. I switched them and they lined up perfect. Only con I have found it that width of the table is actual 46.75" instead of the advertised 48"...I think I will survive without the extra 1.25" though. haha! I am still working on redecorating my living room with new color on walls and update to the fireplace to go but I attached picture of the coffee table in my living room at this point.

I love this table, even though it arrived with a slightly damaged corner. I spoke to Customer Service about this, but didn't want to return it until another was in stock. The CSR person did not know when the item would be restocked. No problem. I kept it anyway for our Media/Rec Room. This is a great square shape and is very sturdy - perfect for board or card games or crafts. I've bought four individual storage ottomans, that tuck under this table perfectly and add additional seating around the table. Love this! Highly recommend.

Extremely easy to put together. Metal sides arrive dirty but clean up easily with a damp cloth. I would recommend opening the box outside or in a basement and cleaning it before putting it on any surface that is difficult to clean. Even with this minor inconvenience I am still giving it five stars because it is so sturdy and really compliments our industrial space.

Looks good and the metal frame is good, but the wood is not very heavy duty and not perfectly flat. Two of the screws that it came with wouldn't screw on. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

This item showed up damaged and return shipping was going to be a nightmare since it was so big. Overstock gave us a small discount on the item and my husband refinished the entire wood top and painted the metal legs. It's fine for now, but still shopping for a better solution.

it's been few years since I placed the order. Very good quality, still looks like new. highly recommend!!

Well made- well proportioned.. colors exactly as pictured. Finish has held up. Love it but it could be a bit taller- we put 1” blocks under it.

I love the clean lines of this table, and the combination of metal and wood is striking. It is a good size and extremely easy to assemble!!

The box arrived open on both ends, but the internal packaging is so well done there wasn't a nick or scratch. It only takes a couple of minutes to put together and it looks very substantial when complete. It's exactly the industrial look I was hoping for and looks much more expensive than its very reasonable price. It's not worth removing a star, but is worth mentioning that the packaging has a very unpleasant odor.

I was a little worried when I first took it out of the box as it was covered in a dusty film. Once I washed it all down, I loved it. Looks so good with the matching nesting tables.
