Super comfortable, generous proportions, pull out foot rest is a must - sitting in an Adirondack chair with your feet up absolutely delightful and having that option is the way to go. Backrest is adjustable, another great feature. Got the gray since it blends into a natural environment plus the price is excellent. All in all a fabulous purchase and outstanding value. Only additional important advice... I applied Minwax clear satin protective coating with a brush to all surfaces - definitely a wise time investment as wood is now protected, looks richer and will last much longer without splitting/splintering

The chairs are very well packaged. I ordered two and they shipped and arrived separately about a day apart. Both came without crack, sent, or damage. All the tools were there and the assembly was easy with good instructions. I had my 15 year old assist me for one part to hold something in place while I put the screws in. But other than that someone could easily do this on their own. Assembly took about 30 minutes for the first one and 15 for the second only because we knew exactly what to do the second time around. We ordered the grey chairs but they are definitely more brown than grey. However, i kind of expected that because the pictures in the site description look just what we got. The quality is very good and didn’t seem cheap. It freaks a little at first so just remember not to fully tighten bolts to keep wood from cracking or splitting. Once we loosened things up a little the creaking went away. Either way, we love the chairs and are pretty comfortable. We got them on sale too so definitely worth it-which made me nervous because when things are on sale it’s usually cheaper stuff. These are nice though i would definitely purchase again!

Overall, we are happy with these chairs. One of the pieces came split in half, and when we reached out to customer service at Overstock, they quickly located the part and shipped to us. The chair is comfy and the footstool slides in and out easily.

These chairs are okay. I like the way the ottoman can be stored or used. When the ottoman is stored however the angle of the back seems off, compared to other adirondack chairs I've sat in. So we almost always keep the ottoman out, which makes it difficult to get in and out of while it's extended.
