Linon Pamela Office Chair - Grey

I stressed and researched office chairs for months, too scared to commit to a chair I was worried wouldn't be comfortable. I had my eye on a tan/cream pottery barn chair in a similar style but couldn't bring myself to pay $600 for it. When I saw this chair, it was such a similar style but not really the color I had been wanting. I finally just went for it, and I am so happy I did. I'm happy to report that it is SO comfortable. I sit for hours at a time editing photos, and it does not cause butt or back pain like some chairs I've had. I also really like the color in person. I like that I'll never have to worry about it getting dirty, or showing stains. I sometimes like to sit "cross cross applesauce" and I don't have to worry about my shoes on the chair. All of this to say, if you're hesitant about this chair, don't be!

Absolutely love this chair! It is easy to assemble, sturdy and goes perfectly. I was a little worried at first because I was using a kitchen chair at my desk, and the height was 18"- with not much room to spare. The minimum height on this is 20"- max is 24". It worked well though, but might not for someone who is tall if you don't have the clearance under your desk (floor to drawer on my desk is about 24.5" with carpet). The color is a true dark gray with almost a linen-look print (not a linen texture).

All the pictures shown in the description are exactly what you will find in this item in person. I personally love the mix of diffident colors in the fabric and that helps blend in better with my espresso colored office desk and provide a bit more interest. You’ve gotta love the nailhead trim detail on the seat cushion too! The chair looks more high-end In person. The thickness of the cushion seat definitely helps elevate the look and feel of this item too. One thing I’ll say though is this chair is more on the small side. A cozy office chair, that’s what I would call it

Absolutely beautiful chair. I purchased it for my wife’s craft room and she loves it! The breakdown.... chair is extremely well made with quality materials. The fabric feels great-managing to be soft yet appears durable. The tufted back is done really well...craftsmanship is exemplary. The decorative furniture brads are a great way to finish the look of the chair. Comfort wise, it can’t be beat. It provides great support while stills managing to be “comfy.” The base with rollers definitely is hands down better stylistically than the shiny metal “one size fits all” that are used on other office chairs out there. It gives the perfect “shabby chic” touch that she was looking for. The overall design makes it great for her craft room- the lack of the traditional “arms” makes it easy to slide under a craft table. Her room isn’t super big, but the design of the chair leaves a smaller footprint, taking up far less space than the traditional office chair she had in there previously. The height of the chair is perfect, as my wife is 5’2” and finding a chair that works for her can sometimes be difficult. The only negatives I can think of aren’t really negatives, just advice. While it can easily be put together by one person, I would definitely recommend 2 people. Having one to hold certain pieces in specific positions definitely is a plus. It also does take some time to put together. The chair and the wooden base (wheels not attached) are the only pieces that arrived assembled so you must literally put together this chair. It isn’t a simple slide the chair base to the wheel base assembly, which honestly further confirms my classifying this as a quality piece of furniture! The chair was back ordered, which I knew upon ordering. The date given for delivery, approximately 3 1/2 weeks later, was exactly the date we received it!!! That rarely happens with other companies. The item was packaged well...which was good because the shipping company did bang the box up a lot. The pricing on the chair was $ less than I found anywhere else...and I looked EVERYWHERE! I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Overstock!!! My wife actually squealed when she saw the chair, and I couldn’t ask for more than that! This was my very first purchase with Overstock but it definitely won’t be my last!

The packaging was damaged when it arrived. Parts were missing and there were no assembly instructions. I requested a return, and that process seems a bit convoluted. Instead of allowing me to return the chair, they're asking the carrier to come to my house to inspect the package as part of their claim against them. That further inconveniences me!! In my online request for return, I specifically said the package was missing parts and the instructions to install. In the follow up emails, they keep referring it to a damaged item, which is why they filed a claim with the carrier and are asking me to dispose of the chair. Again, I'm being inconvenienced by having to be present to show UPS the package AND I have to lug this chair to the dump! I'd give it to someone who may be more knowledgeable about putting together chairs without instructions, but I don't have all the parts and don't know what's missing! All I want is my *** back and I'm not sure when that's going to happen. Perhaps I'm used to Amazon's customer service with respect to returns, and just find Overstocks process to be annoying. That said, the chair itself was not damaged. The fabric looked good and solid, but I do have concerns about how sturdy it would be if it was fully install. I think I made the best decision in requesting a return, and I've ordered a totally different chair altogether. I do plan to post my experience when that chair arrives. I'v'e ordered from Overstock in the past and have had great buying experiences with them, including other furniture items. Hopefully, I will have a different outcome with this next order.

I bought this chair to use at my desk in my newly remodeled kitchen. It's not a run-of-the-mill desk chair. I can adjust the height so that I'm comfortable sitting at counter height. I originally planned to immediately reupholster this chair to match my kitchen. The fabric is so nice I've changed my mind! It's not a solid gray, there are white "streaks" that give it visual interest. Very comfy with a sturdy feel. I'm looking forward to using it for years to come!

This chair is absolutely gorgeous, but I have received complaints from 2 completely separate office staff members that it's not suited for all day use. If you need a stylish chair for your home office and you aren't going to live in it, this is a beautiful chair. PS- you should buy after market wheels for this as the stock wheels are garbage

Lovely chair and comfortable. However, after a few months the wheel bearings started falling out and after 6mth on of the wheels came off completely and needs to be replaced.

This is a beautiful chair and looks great but doesn't have a ton of low back support so if you're sitting for long hours not the most comfortable. Also wheels will scratch hardwood floor had to buy separate wheels to replace the ones on the chair

The chair is beautiful and was delivered in tact and promptly. I purchased this chair for my home office. I've sat in this chair for eight hours a day. The seat (although has plenty of padding), sinks straight down in the middle, leaving your hips higher than your bottom, creating a sinking feeling. The back is too far angled, no support for a long work day. After just one week, the chair creaked and rattled as if it was already worn out. Was very disappointed as it is a beautiful chair, however not worth the price, to forgo comfort. Thanks to Overstock for the great return process.

Love my Chair!! So comfortable when I work on my computer.

I LOVE this chair. We don’t use this area all day everyday so time will tell on how it holds up long term. However, it’s dressed up enough for the front room of our house, super comfy, and the low profile and lack of arms ensures it will fit under smaller desks. The only complaint is that the base of the chair where the wood connects was a little uneven (each piece didn’t match up perfectly).

Great chair. Very well constructed. Comfortable and perfect for a home office.

This is a great chair, comfortable and very stylish.It is solid , sturdy and very rich looking, the fabric is a tweed like with white in it which I liked but was not expecting. The color is a true gray. I love it!

The things I like most about this chair is the look and quality....this chair looks very high end and well made...it is dark in color to hide everyday use

My husband really likes this chair. It glides easily over our wood floors and under his desk. The gray color sways a bit on the purple side in certain light but overall, it was a smart purchase.

This chair is fantastic. First, it’s very solid and well made. Study to hold heavier people. It’s also very comfortable, has smooth rolling capability and what I love most is it fits under any desk perfectly.

This chair makes a excellent looking statement, not the ordinary office chair, but unfortunately it is not comfortable to sit in for long. Disappointed in that fact, but waited too long to return the chair.
