This is a lovely chafing dish which I use often. I do wish, however, the water reservoir were a little deeper, it doesn’t lend itself well to helping keep the food hot. The water starts boiling and then evaporates leaving the reservoir dry. I would reorder again.

WOW! Absolutely Beautiful!
I ordered this for a large party I was having and it was absolutely perfect. It kept the food ware without it sticking to the bottom of the chafing dish. Many people thought it was beautiful and wanted to know where I'd purchased it. I plan to add to the pieces (I have two now and love them both) until I have enough to serve anything I want and all the pieces will match.

Old Dutch round antique copper chafing dish
I bought two of these to serve hot hors d'oeuvres during the Christmas season. As they did not come with glass liners (no surprise as that wasn't addressed in the item description), I bought two of the correct size. They will look lovely on my table and I can hardly wait to get them filled with Hawaiian-style cocktail sausages and chili con queso! Mele Kalikimaka and Feliz Navidad!

Yes, it does.

Yes it does. However, what I've done is just put a small glass container in the bottom with a candle in it. It has worked very well. Perhaps it wouldn't work for extremely long periods of time but it did a great job for a 3 hour reception. I've also used this piece to serve shrimp. I filled the bowl with crushed ice and piled the shrimp on top. Where the burner goes I put flowers to cover the area. It looked lovely and worked beautifully. It also match the other wonderful Old Dutch pieces that were being used.
