This is a very heavy and sturdy chaise lounge. I purchased two and they were easy to assemble. I have a similar bench on my front porch that looks just as good as the day I bought it and I expect the same out of this piece. The Florida sun is pretty harsh on outdoor furniture and it is well worth the extra money to buy something that will last for years. I bought cushions directly from Polywood so they would match my deep seating set.

Definitely very expensive when you compare to wood or other materials, however I have made an effort over the last couple years to cut down on maintenance. These chaise lounges are virtually maintenance free and will last a lifetime. I will gladly spend twice the price of a normal chaise to have one that will be as durable. I do think we will have to add cushions, either because the material will be hot (I ordered black) or too hard. The same manufacturer makes Sunbrella material cushions, which should be equally as durable.

Worth every single penny of additional cost over other brands of outdoor furniture. People have commented that these look like 5-star resort chairs. I would contend they are better than that. Installation- I used a drill with an Allen wrench attachment and had four of them together in less than an hour. It would likely be time consuming if you only had the Allen key they come with. They are so heavy duty, it took two people to carry them to the backyard. You can spray them down with the pressure washer, and they are guaranteed to not fade, crack or splinter with a 20 YEAR warranty! I love that they are made in the USA from recycled milk jugs. Also, that the company recycles products even within its own production line and minimizes waste when shipping to customers. These came in a cardboard box secured with plastic wrap, with no internal packaging or Styrofoam, in perfect condition. That should give you an idea of just how durable they are. You will not regret spending the extra money, I am so pleased with my purchase.
