Porch & Den Battersea Full-size 8-inch Futon Mattress

Ummm... This futon mattress serves its purpose, but thats about it. Cant ask too much for the price, and it looks good on my freshly painted brown couch frame. What I didnt like about this was that it came with WHITE threads and the cover is BLACK. I fixed this by painting the white threads with a black sharpie and VOILA! The mattress is somewhat comfortable to sit on but I dont see myself sleeping on it. Also, the black color is not as deep or rich as in the tittle "test" picture on here. It came in a box all folded and compressed and it took about a day to reach its fullness (once out of the box). Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase but I wouldnt recommend it to any of my friends. Like I said before... It serves its purpose.

This futon mattress is firm enough to be comfortable and not feel the futon frame underneath it. But it's soft enough to be comfortable both as a sofa and as a bed. The size exactly fits my full size futon frame. After a day it fluffed up to its full thickness after being compressed from shipped. I am very pleased with this item. I recommend a washable cover for it.

We ordered the full size 8 inch futon mattress in blue. It arrived 1 day earlier than we expected. The color is rich and the mattress is thick and not flimsy like other futon mattresses that we had bought from other retailers in the past. It is super comfortable and according to the washing instructions it will be a breeze to unzip and wash the cover. My daughter loves her bed and said that it's the most comfortable futon mattress that she's every slept on. I would definitely recommend this purchase. Thank you Overstock!

Everything about this mattress is great with the exception of its thickness. I saw reviews that said it was not a full 8-inches thick, and I agree with them. The cover I bought for this mattress is recommended for a 6-inch to 8-inch mattress, and it is loose. I would recommend that anyone interested in buying a futon mattress step up to the next thickness. Dealing with Overstock.com is a pleasure and everything from ordering to delivery went very well.

We purchased this mattress and got lucky. There are a lot of options out there for full size futons so it is somewhat of a crap shoot-especially with some diverging reviews. We used it as the cushion/mattress for the full size-bottom portion of a bunk bed. It functions well as both a mattress and couch cushion. Comfortable in both categories. We provide a pillow top mattress topper for people who prefer a less firm mattress, and so far everyone who has slept on it finds it very comfortable. It is also made of what appears, and feels to be durable fabric. I just ordered another one for another bunk bed we purchased.recently.

These futon mattresses are AMAZINGLY comfortable. We ordered two full size, eight inch mattresses to use for our family bed and we all slept like ROCKS when these arrived. Highly recommended!

Comfortable and thick! Great purchase! I ordered this for a day bed frame and it looks so nice only guest bedroom! The full size is the same dimensions as a full size mattress so it can fit on a frame and my guests think it is super comfy.

This Porch & Den Full-size 8-inch mattress is of excellent quality especially because of the lower price compared to competitors. The mattress is as thick as stated, and comfortable.to sit and lay upon. A few threads stick out at some seams which I cut away for a better appearance. Due to thickness which is good for comfort makes a little hard to conform to futon center hinge, but I'm sure this is normal. Its not that bad in that respect.

So I have never purchased anything online from Overstock.com before. I was looking for a new bed for my 7 year old granddaughter.I saw the Clay Adler Home Owsley Full size8 inch futon mattress and took a chance.Wow,am I super impressed.Its really heavy and comfortable.It will be so nice for her when she visits.I tested it out and it was unbelievably comfortable.Yes I would purchaise this again.

The mattress is super comfortable and stylish. Makes the room look wonderful

This futon is heavy and thick but slumps and molds to your body. It doesnt seem to puff back up and is too heavy tofluff up. It also took awhile to air out the chemical smell.

I bought this mattress for my son's dorm room because all that I saw in stores were either very cheaply made or very expensive. This is a huge deal! He loves it and sleeps on it rather than his school supplied mattress. Very well made and comfy. I plan on buying one now for son who is off to college next year. I was worried having never ordered something like this from Overstock but O co. is becoming my new go to store.

I ordered the ivory version. It arrived stained with several threads coming from the seams all over. It was damp and smelled heavily of chemicals. I did try sitting on it after a few hours thinking that the smell would eventually go away and that I could buy a cover for the stains if it was really comfortable, but unfortunately it was also really uncomfortable to sit on. All in all, very poor quality and a total disappointment now with the added inconvenience of returning a heavy product. UPDATE: The customer service reps were great in helping me with my return and going over concerns and all my questions. In the end the inconveniences were made as small as possible. They made a stressful situation 10 times better than it was and were very nice.

Purchased for futon in our sitting room which serves as a guest bedroom when needed. Arrived vacuum paced, but opened up within 24 hours to full size. Comfortable, firm and perfect for guest bed. Color was just as advertised.

Bought this for the spare bedroom I'm in the process of decorating. Nice and thick. Nephew is sleeping on it right now and says it is comfortable. It is vacuum sealed so does have a funny smell that will go away within a few day's.

Fabric way too thick and heavy. I would not want to sit on this rough fabric. The photo of this mattress is deceiving, as it appears to look soft and smooth like a pillow! It looks nothing like the photo and is extremely heavy! need to return to Overstock!

So far so good. Like other reviewers have said, you need to be prepared for the packing chemical smell and the need for it to expand after shipping, so give yourself at least 3 days for both of these to remedy themselves (I left it outside in the sun for a day which really seemed to help). Hoping that continue to like it and it doesn't sag!!

We got this after my husband was in a car accident and broke his leg. He no longer could climb stairs and it fit perfectly on our pull out couch. It is comfortable. Down side is due to how thick it is, it is heavy. I love this mattress and would buy it again.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I ordered a navy colored mattress and got an off white one.

Super soft but thick. Absolutely love this.

Seems like a good quality futon mattress but has a horrible smell to it that still hasn’t gone away. I have tried spraying it with a fabric refresher but the smell is still there. Hoping it goes away eventually.
