The other is the grease on the rails for the keyboard slides. It covers your fingers and get on everything while you're trying to put the unit together. Would have been better if the grease could have been applied after putting everything back together.

Great for a small space!
We recently moved and had to downsize, so I purchased this desk for my computer. My hubby was able to assemble it easily. There is space for the desktop computer and I can put my printer on the lower shelf. It is solid and good deal for the price!

INEXPENSIVE AND WELL MADE.
I bought 2 of these for our community building computer room. I didn't expect top shelf quality for $$. They are well made and I believe they will last many years in the environment that they are used. As others have mentioned, the instructions are less than adequate. In particular, it fails to mention that each keyboard slide (2) needs to be taken apart and attached to its appropriate piece. And it takes a good pull to get them apart. Picture instructions don't cut it.

Good Things in Samll Boxes
It arrives in a frighteningly small box. You'll need to put on some good music or have a glass of wine to assemble it or perhaps both. But, with patience and very little skill, it will come together. It's compact but does the job for a full size computer, printer, tower and peripherals. I needed a small scale desk to fit in my tiny office. It's basic and utilitarian. It is a good value for the price. The style, unlike many inexpensive items, is really not offensive and blends in while doing the job. The wood panels look a bit plastic but the metal parts were nicely finished in a grey epoxy paint. It feels quite sturdy when assembled. The sliding keyboard and mouse pad are nice features. It has locking wheels which help if you need to get behind it. I think it was a very successful purchase for my needs. It would work well for a student's computer at home or in a dorm.

Assembly was pretty easy, once I figured out that you have to separate the slider mechanism for the keyboard holder and then FOUND the little latch TO separate the slider mechanism.

Get what you paid for? Desk arrived with the frames bent. In fact, its clear they re-welded one part, but didn't bother with re-painting. Because of the bent frames, its very difficult to slide out the keyboard tray. You really have to work at it. That all said, the desk works otherwise, and looks like there is nothing wrong with it from a distance. Looks good.
