Solid, well-built, right price
This desk appealed to me for it's whimsical corner design, and the fact that it had a shelf below and a drawer. It seemed a perfect fit to put into the bedroom of my granddaughter and more an adult piece of furniture, not just a kid's desk. I thought the price was very reasonable. As with many international products, the instruction sheet left something to be desired. The illustration for Step 1 was the reverse of what it should be and I was immediately put on edge. But the hardware was all there (what ever happened to putting a few extra in, just in case?), the pieces were cut to fit, and it felt very square and sturdy when complete. Two problems: 1) the dowel holes were sloppy, and 2) there was not near enough glue.

Harder than Heck to put together
Manufacturing error made this hard to put together. It took my neighbor and I two hours to put it together. We had to drill new holes into three of the pieces. It was horrible. I had already thrown the box away, otherwise I might have sent it back. But, who's kidding, the product weights a lot, many parts, and I don't want to deal with shipping it back. So, I "jerry-rigged" it to get it to work and it looks great. Very cute desk, just stinks that "quality control" failed.

drawer tracking bracket screws were too short
The top is too thin. The screws that came with the desk weren't long enough to hold the drawer guide. When I replaced those screws with slightly longer screws they came through the top. The manufacturer should redesign the drawer guide system and use better hardware. That said, my 14 year old daughter is quite happy with it.

Not White
If you want a white desk to go with other white furniture, then don't buy this. If you want a very decent corner desk for the price and don't care about color matching, then buy this.

This desk is an off/antique white - not the bright white pictured. Other than that it is a very nice desk, pretty easy to assemble. Fits nicely in the corner to save space in a small room.

If it were only a few inches smaller it would have worked well in the space. It's very nice for a girls room and because it's a corner desk it is different. Like the shelves it had.

As if noted in my review of the dark wood finish of this desk I’ve purchased four in total. One white and three in the darker wood finish. They’ve stood up to use in my retail store as kiosk desks and the other two in my daughters and grandsons room. If they can stand up those riggers they can handle anything.

I put this table together in under an hour. It's very sturdy and fits perfectly in my bedroom providing a nice makeup station.

just what I was looking for
A friend put this together in about an hour. He was impressed and kept telling me that the design of the desk was exceptional, it was easy to put together, all pieces were there, and the wood pieces were sturdy. It fit the small corner that I wanted it for exactly, with plenty of room on the top for my monitor, keyboard, and other stuff. The drawer is larger than I expected and slides easily. I am a happy camper.

Perfect
I got this table to use as a makeup table in order not to take up to much space in my bedroom, this works perfectly, it only took about an hour to put together and the color is more of a cream color which goes great with my bedroom furniture

It looks terrible in a girl's room of all white furniture. I am very unhappy and sorry I did not go to a furniture store.

The size is great and fits perfectly in the corner. It did not take long to assemble. The drawer is a decent size. It is not big. It holds a laptop on a stocking station and a keyboard. There isn't any extra room for writing unless the keyboard is moved under the raised docking station. This is great for us. The drawer doesn't slide well. We will be working on that. Otherwise a sturdy desk. It is NOT a true white color. It's more of an antique white or cream color.

This corner desk was purchased for our daughter’s room remodel. It worked out just as we had hoped it would! She loves to do her homework, color, read, and play school here. I covered the inside with some refrigerator protector and used clear silicone to adhere it. I also changed out the drawer pull for a more decorative one. I put the desk together by myself, and it definitely took the 90 minutes the plans called for (maybe even more); however, I tend to try to achieve perfection with an obsessive pursuit, so it may have taken me a tad longer than it should have. Also, if you do it with another (or have your amazing hubby do it - like I SHOULD have requested), you are likely to finish in a shorter amount of time.

My son loves it!! The directions are correct in that the desk requires 2 people to put it together. It took my husband & I at least 2 hours to put it together but it was well worth the smile on my son's face. We were pleased to see that the desk came with extra hardware, that's a plus. On another note, the color of the desk is not a stark white but more of an antique white or off white.

My daughter loves her desk. It fits perfectly in the corner of her room. However, the assembling was very difficult as the instructions for another desk was provided. I tried calling the company but they were closed for the holidays, so I GOOGLED the instructions.
