It is lightweight and easy to put together, though one screw hole was misaligned (easily fixable with wood glue). We paired it with the OSP Home Furnishings Student task chair to make a very nice workspace for our kids.

I bought two of these for my nieces’ rooms. They absolutely adore them. Their rooms are not very big and this desk doesn’t take up too much space. It was very easy to assemble, being a woman who doesn’t usually assemble things. An allen wrench and screws, which were included, were the only tools needed to complete this desk. Lastly, I love the addition of the cup and backboard to help with organization. I highly recommend purchasing this for young kids and teens!

This was the perfect desk for a smaller space in my 10 yr old's room, but it's plenty big to do her homework & use her chrome book on. I was fearing having to put this together for fear of it taking so long, but it did not take long at all, about 30 min. The directions were clear & descriptive in both written & diagrams. The only tool needed was an allen wrench, which was included. The bonus on this desk is the metal pen cup, tray & magnetic - sticky note board. The legs/frame is metal & top & back boards are like a heavy duty wood or wood product white a white finish. The only con was lack in available colors. However, since the frame & accessories are metal, they could probably be easily painted to match the decor colors. I have not done that, but I do plan on it. All i need to do is take a few minutes removing the top & back & take it outside to paint it the color that goes with the rest of decor (pink, blush, copper or rose gold). I will also be using a chalkboard paint on the magnetic board so she can make notes directly on the board as well as hang them.

It’s the perfect size. Easy to assemble and made well. I’m very happy with it. It’s contemporary with a twist. Love the little magnet board and pencil holder that attaches to the backboard- very convenient and saves space on the desk writing area. Love it!!!!

This desk is sturdy; the X legs are non-folding so they do not wiggle. I like the three slats at the back--I can store my pencils, post sticky-notes, and not block the window my desk sits in front of. This desk is small enough to fit in my crowded office, yet just big enough to prevent me from cluttering it up.

I purchased this for my 10 year old daughter to have a place for homework. My 14 year old daughter put it together in 1 hour. It's easy to get the back rails backwards the instructions was a little fuzzy on that part. Other than that it's sturdy and functional.

Don’t underestimate this desk because if the price. The desk is durable and worth every penny. Blends into the room very nicely. Incredibly easy to put together. Instructions suggest a 2 person assembly, I’m 63 and did it all by myself. Very pleased with the desk! Looks exactly like shown in the online picture. Many pros: size, price, ease of assembly, durability. I have not found any cons.

The desk itself is fine. Decent quality and sturdy. However, I purchased a white chair from the same company (Porch & Den Third Ward Erie Chair) to go with the desk - assuming the whites would match. But they are far off from each other. The desk has a really strong blue-tinted white, so now the chair looks yellow. in the photo, you can also see the edge of a bed frame. That white bed matches the white dresser from ***. Hopefully that can give you some idea of the true color of the desk. I really like the chair. I'll probably return the desk.

Cute desk, but poorly made. The hardware was neatly packaged in separate sections, however, one of the screws in the section to install the top to the legs was a little longer. When I screwed the top on, the screw pushed up through the thin laminate and cracked it. I was so disappointed because I really like the desk as it is the perfect size for my needs. I thought about returning it, but I don't have the heart to disassemble and put all the pieces back in the box.
