I like the way this rug holds out in the rain. It dries out pretty fast. The only think I didn't like was the color was not as bold and vibrant as pictured. Mine was more a pale, faded blue.

A Close-Up Photo Would Help
We just bought this rug for our foyer. Initially we were a little disappointed by its appearance. You can see each woven piece in the rug--the strands, or threads, are larger and bumpier than I expected from the picture. I guess I expected the whole thing to look smoother, more like a cotton rug. Perhaps this is the "outdoor" quality to the rug. Anyway, we decided to keep it. The pattern and colors are what I wanted, and I imagine the texture/materials that I'm not as keen on, in the long run, are what will enable the rug to stand up to heavy traffic. It does need a pad underneath to keep it in place.

I don't see black in this rug, which online shows black as the primary color. It's beige and gray! Will be returning!

great rug....incorrect sizing
the rug is beautiful. however, i needed a 5ft long rug. the description says 2.7 x 5 so i figured that if overstock bothered to correctly get the width down, the length must be on point. it's short 4 inches, and it looks silly in the space because it isn't centered correctly between the basement vanity and toilet. super annoyed at overstock! the rug itself is perfect...beautiful gray color, the beige is a nice tone, the quality is great and as expected wtih safavieh brand.

Bought two for runners in my lower level where I have a walkout. My hallways are 3 1/2 feet wide, so most runners are too skinny. Was so excited to see runners 31" wide. They were just right and matched my gray tile perfectly. They are indoor/outdoor, but because of the high traffic area I had in mind, they will be durable, and they look great.

"The description says that this is a 'poolside' rug. Is it a problem to get this rug wet? And if it can get, can it be hosed off? Also, how long can it remain damp? For cleaning, we recommend rinsing the rug with a garden hose, allowing the water to drain and setting it to dry in direct sunlight. Make sure to allow for it to dry on both sides.
