I bought this rug as an experiment, having never seen an indoor/outdoor rug before, and I love it (thus the 5 stars). However, it was a bit different than I was expecting, which may be due to my general ignorance about rugs. Differences: - The color is different from online. It is much darker than the picture -- more of a faded navy color than blue/grey. Also the beige is a darker beige than pictured. It is very colorful and high contrast. It is not a neutral rug -- your eye is definitely drawn to it when you walk into the room. - When I read "pile" I was expecting something similar to a plush rug, but maybe shorter pile. Instead it is... not woven... but picture something more like embroidery or cross-stitch (I am sure there is an actual name for this type of weave, but I don't know what it is). This might be a normal feature of indoor/outdoor rugs. Not what I was expecting, but not bad either. Pros: - I do love the richer color. The darker blue adds some masculinity to the room that my husband likes. - It looks like it will be very easy to vacuum. I can pick lint and small scraps of paper (we had a shredder debacle) off it with my fingers as if it were hardwoods. - It lay flat right away. - No noticeable smell. - My cats have scratched on it and it has held up so far (we've only had it three days), but we'll see how it does over time. Cons: - It is a little scratchy against bare feet. Not uncomfortable, but not a rug that makes you want to lie down and roll around on it either. Closer to seagrass or jute than a plush rug. - You can definitely tell it is made of man-made fibers, and not natural fibers, when you walk on it with bare feet or examine it closely.

This is an indoor/outdoor carpet, and I was concerned it might be more outdoor than indoor, but it's not. I really love it. Color is as represented. Should be easy to clean and maintain. Doesn't have an outdoor plastic feel.

I used this rug to complete my bedroom decor. It has just the right amount of trend without being over the top. It was well worth the price. True to description and looks great. Holding up to lots of foot traffic and easy to clean.

The rug design is as pictured, but it is more of a blue-gray rather than a true gray color. Stains are very easy to clean, and it seems to be durable, it being an indoor-outdoor rug. You may need to use a rug pad underneath it if using indoors as it tends to stretch and lose its shape without one. A stylish and durable rug overall.

My rug came yesterday, I put it on my courtyard patio this morning and could not be more pleased with it. I wish there had been a larger one. I got the 9x12 rug but could have used a 10 x15 but alas they do not sell that size. Also, I just looked at the rug today and it is now on sale :-( Oh well, I'm still very happy with it and it really changed the look of my concrete patio.

Great rug for the price. The off white color is more of a darker beige color, but it works great with other colors in my home. It isn't very soft, but is an indoor/outdoor rug. I've put mine under my dining table and it looks great. Pet hair doesn't stick to it and it vacuums easily.

Color shown is pretty accurate. Holds up well outdoors. This is the second season with this rug and it still looks like new. It is out all spring through fall on an open deck so is exposed to all the elements. Good buy for the price.

Love the design of this rug and the quality is great - I have other rugs from this manufacturer and the price is definitely a good deal. Only thing I didn't expect was the texture of the rug, but it is an outdoor rug. Color looks taupe online, but is closer to a light to medium brown/bark.

This is the second Safavieh indoor/outdoor rug we've purchased. The first one (which was beige and cream) is in our family room where we have lots of kids and dogs, and it has held up beautifully. We even spilled a glass of red wine on it, and it cleaned up easily with no stain. This grey/beige rug is for a beach home so it needs to stand up to sand, kids, and wet feet. The only thing to note is that the rug is quite a bit darker gray than it appears in the picture. It still worked for us, but be aware of that. We love using these indoor/outdoor rugs inside for durability.

This is a beautiful outdoor rug and truly ties together the space on our patio by the living room. It is very attractive and looks nice from inside as well. Much better quality than expected for the price :)

This rug is sturdy and strong. Size is not quite accurate. Width is 2'2" not 2'4". Length is accurate. Pretty and easy to clean. Pics are accurate. I am using it in the kitchen and find that it is exceptionally easy to clean. Too stiff to get in washer - just take outside and hose off. It dries very quickly and appears brand new after washing. Highly recommend.

Great quality- the rug is really nice- the grey is as pictured, I was worried it was going to be lighter as I have experienced some outdoor rugs tend to be lighter. Very happy with the rug and quality, great geographic design. Would recommend this for sure

I needed a rug for our front entry, and I was torn between this one and another, as I liked both styles. I chose this one, and am glad I did. I love this rug! It was a great price, and since it's an indoor/outdoor carpet, the material is perfect for our high trafficked front area. The brown in the picture is a little lighter, than in person, but the colors are still great.

Received my rug today. The colors are true - it's a sagey green with a creamy beige pattern. I've already laid it out and it's almost completely flat. The pattern is beautiful and the quality is MUCH better than another indoor-outdoor that I've ordered from that French-inspired catalog, initials B.D. - I paid twice the price for that one and this one is thicker, more substantial, the binding is better and the pattern is a more solid and detailed construction. Looks lovely in the space I have it in, and also, although it is not listed in the description, I was pleased to find that this manufacturer is a maker of higher-end home furnishings. (Saf---eh)

These outdoor/indoor Safavieh rugs are excellent at protecting my hardwood floor; stand up to a lot of wear and look great. The bonus is that you can wipe them down, which when you have 2 dogs and 4 cats is a life saver!

Like the other reviews said, this is a darker blue then in the picture. but we were looking for something to add a little color and interest to our kitchen without breaking the bank and this was perfect against my dark cherry casual table and medium hardwood floors. I didn't even need a pad. Couldn't have asked for better for the price! Not to mention the dog has already barfed on it and it cleaned up easily. Win-win! Love it!

Rug is large and very good quality for the price. Lays flat and is thick enough to not wrinkle up like some cheaper outdoor rugs. The color and pattern is exactly as pictured and is very vibrant and fashionable...it will add style to your patio or poolside. I've received a lot of complements on this rug since putting it on my back patio!
