Bottom line: I would not have bought this rug if I'd seen it in person first. The color of the rug is definitely a blue-gray-purple as others have mentioned, but It also is darker than how it looked on the website. The beige trim is also darker, like more of a tan color. Overall, the coloring combination is just not that attractive, it would look much nicer if it were a true gray with a lighter off-white design. I've had it down about three weeks and the roll marks from how it was packed have not even started to come out yet. It's such a lightweight material, I'm not sure it will ever lay flat. Looks inexpensive and would work best in an outdoor space or a very casual room.

I wasn't sure about purchasing an indoor/outdoor rug. I baught this for my living room and if it was to rough I was sending it to my patio, it's really soft (purchased with a rug pad). It did stink for a bit, but I assumed it would. Nbd. I've had it for a few weeks and I'm still getting all the wrinkles out. All in all very happy!

I just love this rug. Whenever I see a description for indoor/outdoor rug, I only buy those for my outside use. I wish O let us upload pictures with our reviews so others can see how someone may use in their own personal space. I bought this rug for a great sitting area on my deck. I used this rug, along with a set I bought from O Christopher Knight chairs, loveseat and coffee table and it just looks stunning. The rug is perfect for outside use. It's been getting rained on and still holding up perfectly. This was a great buy, I used my rewards points, and I'm a club member so received free shipping and additional points for my next purchase.

I love the fun but elegant color and pattern of this rug. It is perfect for a transition from outdoor to indoor area. We bought two of these rugs. One is inside our house in the mudroom. The other will go outside on the deck. It is a coordinated way to make the inside and outside feel dressed up, but not stuffy. The material of this rug is durable, but not harsh on bare feet. It is made to last in a high traffic area. The Safavieh Courtyard rug is a great option if you are looking for indoor or outdoor rugs that serve a purpose AND a look good!

I bought the 8 x 11'2" size. Be aware that the picture must show a different size; there are 3 designs across and 4 plus a little extra at each end vertically. Even though it is indoor/outdoor, this rug looks nice inside - it does not feel like an outdoor material, and it looks great in my living room. The color is muted sage/olive green with pale beige design. It unrolled rather well, and I have had it for less than a week and the wrinkles seem to be working their way out. My only problem with it was the chemical smell when I first got it. I had an allergic reaction to it the first night and was afraid I would have to send it back. 5 days later, the smell is almost gone, and my allergies seem fine (note: I don't suffer from acute enivironmental allergies, so this was unusual for me). These should have been aired out before being packaged, since the only reason I didn't pack it right back up was that a friend of mine has the same one and I didn't have a problem at her house (I was there a month after she got it). Now, I love it, and couldn't have found a better rug for the money - and I had been looking at rugs for a year.

I was very disappointed with the look and feel of this rug. You may consider it for outside but I definitely won't be keeping it for inside. The quality is not nearly as shown in the photo---the actual product is quite a cheap look and feel. Also the colors are not as shown...the blue is much darker and the cream color is more of a tan/yellow if I'm to describe it best.

I bought the Safavieh Courtyard Blue/Beige Geometric-Print Indoor-Outdoor Rug and the color is perfect. The blue is darker than in the picture, but it's not navy. The beige is a light beige (although I would have preferred blue and white). I've bought many rugs from Overstock and have never been disappointed. I really count on the reviews for a more accurate description, especially when it comes to colors. It's rarely the same color as what you see on your computer monitor. Overstock always has the lowest prices, fast delivery and excellent customer service.

We were looking for an attractive indoor/outdoor rug that would stand up to our boxer’s nails. No matter how often we trim them they seem to pull up picks in other rugs we’ve owned. I think this one will definitely stand up over time. The colors displayed are true to color. It is a dark grey with beige. Many of the reviews complained about the color of the “white”. The color clearly lists it as grey/beige. There are creases but that is common with this type of stiff material and in my experience this type of rug settles over time, especially after steam cleaning. (The pictures are of the first day I laid it out) It’s definately not a cushioned rug. If you have hardwood you may want a padding to add underneath. We have carpeting so wasn’t an issue. The weave is smooth so doesn’t feel rough on bare feet. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase. We did run into an issue with the delivery because the rug had a cut in the plastic that tore into the top of the rug on one end. I was worried about the hassle of returning/exchanging it. But Overstock couldn’t have handled it better! I got through to a live person quickly and they ordered me a new rug that shipped the same day. They treated it as damage durning transit. As a side benefit Fedex never came to get the damaged rug so overstock said after 10 days it was ours. The cut can be hidden under furniture so it’s a win win. I couldn’t have been more pleased with Overstock’s customer service!!!

The rug arrived and I was not able to roll it out for a few weeks due to our finishing a new home. I purchased the rug to use in the sun room, but it didn't get there. I placed it in the breakfast room and it looked great! Later, we moved it to a pearly white bedroom where it will stay. It added the finishing touch to the bedroom. I wanted to order another one for the sunroom but it was out of stock. So, I've just ordered another rug to use there. The rug is very appealing, restful and can be used with so many different color schemes. It isn't really the most beautiful rug I've seen, but it offers such a neat look wherever it goes. I was worried when the description said this rug was green/beige but the picture didn't seem to show any green--and rightly so. This rug is definitely sage green, not khaki or beige. That being said, it's still a nice color that works for my room and I think this type of rug is the perfect choice for dining areas, esp. for families with kids!

Discovered something recently. Indoor/outdoor rugs work great for high traffic areas in the home. Bought this runner for my kitchen, near the sink. Works well for areas that may have water or frequent stains. They are easy to clean, just spray with a hose. Stain resistant, material doesn't absorb anything. Comfortable under your feet. This one comes in many colors, so you can fit it into almost any colors you may be using in kitchen or bath. The price is great. What more can you say about a rug. It's practical and pretty. Only caution, you should use a pad underneath on slippery surfaces.

This is the third rug of this type & pattern that I've purchased. I initially bought the first one about 2 years ago and used it on the hardwood floor in my kitchen. Was great and cleaned easily with the help of the garden hose! When it started to show some where, I moved it out to the concrete patio & it's holding up like a champ. We recently enlarged another patio area so I purchased the 3rd Safavieh Courtyard rug. They don't fade from the sun & they add a great sense of style pulling together the look of my outdoor furniture to make it look like an indoor living room. Buy it! It's a fantastic value that you won't regret.

Great outdoor rug Love color and quality

I spent a lot of time looking for the 'right' rug under my kitchen dining table. I have it under a 48" round table with 4 chairs and it's the perfect size. There weren't many reviews on this specific indoor/outdoor rug at Overstock, but I found the exact rug in other websites that had given it good reviews. It is a beautiful color that brings a pop of color to my neutral kitchen. The actual rug has a slight blend of deep blues, slightly brighter than the dull image shown. The pattern is beautiful and well balanced. The image shown is probably of a smaller rug, so the actual 7'10" rug has 3 trellis patterns in diameter instead of 2 shown on the image. It's not very thick, so still trying to get the rug to be fully flat since it came rolled up. For the price, you can't beat the quality and beauty of this rug.

Love this rug! Colors look great. We wanted an indoor outdoor rug that was easy to clean since we have two kids under 4. We have had it for over a year and still looks good.

I have had these same rugs in the chevron pattern for about 4-5 years. I also have 2 labrador retrievers and these rugs are in my family room. This pattern is simply a change-out as the Courtyard chevron rugs that have been in place for 5 years are still perfect. I take them outside and hose them off in the summer and in the winter spots/stains clean off easily. Do not let indoor/outdoor description worry you. The material is compatible for use in either area and will look great.

We purchased this rug last year for our long heavily trafficked hall that is in the main entrance hallway to our home. We chose an indoor/outdoor rug because we knew it would be a heavily used area, and it has withstood the test of time, and shows no wear and tear at all. It is just as nice as the day we purchased it. This beautiful contemporary rug is a pretty shade of blue, and despite the fact that we have endured some foul weather including snow, a hurricane, and a tornado, the rug is in perfect condition. This stunning rug has not required cleaning thus far, except for regular vacuuming. We find that pretty amazing, considering we have a family of eight, and a dog, a cat plus have had many visitors. We did put a non skid runner underneath it to prevent it from moving. What I like about this rug is that it can easily be rolled up when I choose to damp mop the wood floors under it. High quality, easy upkeep, low price, thanks Overstock for making this lovey rug available at such a low price!
