Factory seconds?
I was extremely excited to see that I could have this shipped to Europe as tasteful modern rugs are hard to come by (especially outdoor / easily cleanable ones) The package arrived very swiftly (shipped from Overstock to Borderfree, who than shipped/ forwarded to Europe). All customs etc were pre-paid and calculated during checkout. I would absolutely give 5 stars for the service and will happily use this service again! However the product itself (it was ordered for our mudroom) is not great. 1) As already mentioned by another reviewer (same rug different size I believe) this is a flat woven rug but one of the loops (warp) is cut so the grey thread is sticking up revealing the beige weft underneath, this is rather visible. (it#s like one strand has been tufted...) 2) In a 2nd spot the warp wasn't woven correctly and left a knotted appearance (also visible in the weaving from behind), again this is fairly noticeable. 3) there is an entire warp missing in one bit of the pattern, so you get a beige line across a part of the pattern that should in fact be filled in in grey. Lastly, the rug came folded (rather than rolled onto a cardboard tube it is folded around a flat plank of cardboard). This means that a) a week after delivery and after weighing the worst fold marks down with packages of laminate flooring and water filled buckets, the rug is still creased, at this rate it will be at least be another three week until the folds are gone (if they ever fully disappear at all). b) When the rug was "rolled up" it was also "dog eared" (rather than being smoothly wrapped around the core , parts of the outer seam were bent back onto itself before rolling) and this crease is so tightly bent and also the weaving somewhat twisted that it has proven extremely hard to get the edge of the rug to lay flat ( it's been laying on the floor with heavy weights on it for nearly a week now) On a side note, the beige is actually darker than pictured ( both the grey as well as the beige (the latter of which can best be described as "a little blaaahhh" in colour ;) I gave this an "fair" rating to account for both the fact that my particular rug has several issues (making it fair to poor) as well as the fact that if it didn't have those it would actually be a nice rug, deserving a "good" rating.

Perfect for high traffic areas
I purchased this rug to go under our dining table, which is just in front of the back door and next to the kitchen - it gets walked on a lot and covered in leaves and soil from the (renovation in progress) backyard, courtesy of the dogs/cat. I'm very pleased with it. The pros are: - It has withstood heavy foot traffic, moving chairs and soil/garden debris. - Easy to vacuum/clean. - The cat hasn't damaged it with the occasional clawing, he's actually not that interested in it, which is great. - The blue is dark-ish but not too bright (which is what I wanted) and the beige is a smart colour choice as it hides any soil, whereas white would show it. The colours on my screen are accurate. - Love the geometric pattern. - For an indoor/outdoor rug it is still soft underfoot, though obviously not plush. Cons: - It had a few creases in it from shipping that, a couple of months later, still have not settled but they are slowly getting there. Would buy again/recommend to a friend.
