The colors are perfect! One thing that I like about the rug is that the beige has more depth and texture to it than you would think. It's not quite an ombre effect, but there is a subtle variation that makes it not look flat. You can kind of see it in the product photos but it's a subtle touch that looks great in person. It makes me feel like it can get a little dirty and still look fresh.
This rug is amazing quality. I use these in my master bathroom and it finished my spa look perfectly. High pile. The dip dye color is really cool and different on each rug but looks amazing! Very happy with my purchase of 3 of these.
I really like this rug. It has a gorgeous, dense pile and the colors are soft and warm, pretty true to the image. As with all rugs I've ordered from Overstock, it comes with some flaws; a few small spots of colors that don't belong. There is also a pretty big line across the middle that unfortunately lands smack in the middle of my living room, but I didn't notice the line until the morning after we laid it down and it has been getting darker, so I'm thinking there may be some kind of airflow issue from one of the downstairs apartments (whose residents occasionally share their smoke with us). The rest of the rug isn't showing dirt at all. I was a little worried that a neutral rug would soil quickly, or else fall flat next to the vivid colors I've used to decorate around a deep green velvet sofa. Even with the line, this rug provides beautiful grounding for my living room and ties things together soothingly. And I love that it's wool and will last. Initial shedding hasn't been out of control, and will diminish.
Love, love love this rug. Soft, plush rug. The color works great in my home with my color scheme. No shedding noted and laid down nicely after 24 hours. Great buy for price.
This Dip Dye Watercolor Rug is true to the color that appeared on the Overstock website, and the vintage look of uneven color makes it all the more beautiful. I had expected the pile to be cut pile, but the yarns are looped like a Berber rug. Since this rug is being used near the front door entrance, the lack of softness underfoot will not be an issue.
This is a good rug, however the color is not as grey in person and it does "shed" fibers more than expected. However, it is soft and easy to clean, so I would recommend this rug.
This rug was exactly what I expected. The color is beautiful; it looks like a watercolor painting. It matches what I saw on my computer monitor. It has no stink & feels good on the feet. Of course if requires daily vacuuming, but that's because it's a wool rug and I don't expect to have to vacuum it like that forever, likely just for the first month, as with my other wool rugs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that we've had it 2 wks and some of the loops have pulled up. Not unraveling but there are a few pulls where a loop gets bigger and sticks above the rest of the pile. Overall, the rug looks lovely & I would highly recommend. I don't know yet if the pulls will be a problem but for the price I think it is above average!
This rug is in our high traffic living room and has been for just over six months. I like it more now than the day we unrolled it. The color and watercolor effect are perfect for hiding any little spills or drips although every spill we've had, I've been able to blot up and right out of this dense weave. Our two-year-old wrestles and rolls all over this rug without rugburn or complaint. It did shed a fair amount out of the packaging, but over the last six months the amount that fills my vacuum has decreased significantly. The ivory trellis pattern is even with the beige "background". We use a rug pad, and it feels very thick and comfortable underfoot (we're a no-shoes household). I would easily buy a third Safavieh rug. Love it!
Very heavy handmade rug Wool loops And tie dyed The only complaint is most of the color is on the outside edges The center of the rug where the color really shows is a light off yellow Almost the color you would get if you poured bleach on white carpet The parts that have color on the edges is gorgeous But large portions of it have none I've had mine for about 2 months and is soft and wearing well Trying to look past the large ... yellow areas
You never know what you're going to get with Dip Dye...the dye/ink is spread out, not even and in some spots it looks ruined. Be aware of any Dip Dye order
I never give reviews but I just received this rug and it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! The colours are beautiful and the dip dye is unusual with the wavy pattern making it look like the ocean. It looks very expensive as it is made of wool. I would recommend to anyone.
I love Safavieh rugs and have purchased several for my home. The quality is always excellent. This rug definitely measures up. The wool is thick and wonderfully soft under bare feet. My rug is more in the variegated light brown tones than beige, but I love it.
Beautiful rug! Color was just as pictured in the photos. Great quality and matched perfectly in the room I needed it for. I would definitely recommend it and purchase again.
This is a nice thick gorgeous rug. It makes my entire room feel so great. The grey is beautiful but is a little darker than the photo I looked at before purchasing. But it is definitely gorgeous.
I love the size and colors in this rug. It's thick, durable, and easy to clean. It fit my eat-in dining area perfectly and blended well with the variousshades of blue in my room decor!
Beautiful rug. Nice quality. Colors are exactly as shown. We are using this in a high traffic area, and it is wearing quite well! Would buy again!
The photos give the impression of quite a light, plush rug. However, the rug I received was quite a bit darker than I expected from the photos. I still like it though and differences in pattern/darkness are to be expected with hand dip-dying. It is well-made and looks good in the room. Being wool, it is also scratchy and not plush so bear this in mind when considering purchasing.
wonderful quality, wish it was more muted like the picture. it arrived much more of grey blue tones with little washed out. it will still work so we keeping it.
We've had this rug for over a year and it's still a stunner. The difficult part of this rug is because its a loop rug, the fibers will come undone when our dog plays on the rug (nails). So I have needed to trim some of the fibers from the rug to keep it clean looking, but the design and color are great!
I love that it looks worn, without years of having to break it in.
