I received the rug today and unpacked it as soon as it arrived. The pattern of the rug is dramatic enough to be a focal point in space but yet understated enough that it can serve as a nice backdrop. The colors are true to the picture....more of a cooler grey and ivory. One thing that should be noted is that there is variation in the pile of the rug. The grey stripes in the rug are a "looped" pile; whereas the cream part of the rug is more of a dense cut pile. The grey and white stripes are not the same height and same pile height. I personally would've preferred the pile heights to be both a dense cut pile so that it feels more luxurious under your feet. However, the variation in the pile height does add visual interest....otherwise, its almost perfect. Overall, great value for a beautiful and quality-made rug.

This rug makes a great addition to our living room over the hard woods. The two different pile heights add a great texture underfoot. Only con is if you have cats.. They also love the different pile height and threads come out pretty easily. Not a major problem because I love this rug so much.

This is my first time ordering a rug on line and my first purchase from Overstock ! Very pleased with the purchase of the Safavieh rug which arrived much sooner than expected. Great quality, 'plush' wool rug and the color is a perfect ! Highly recommended !

I ordered this rug for my 3 year old sons room because I loved the neutral colors, the different pattern and that it could grow with him while being a great price for a wool rug of this size. However, the first rug I received the ivory stripes were darker than pictured to the point where they looked dirty and dingy. Also the ivory areas were narrow, hard and raised so it was uncomfortable to sit on. I called to return it and was told that the rug wasn't defective but that the colors on my monitor must be off. I wasn't convinced based on the other positive reviews, so I took my chances and reordered the same rug and what a difference! The colors are so much better, even the gray is a nicer shade, the ivory is brighter and clean looking and the stripes are thicker, softer and more plush making it very comfortable to sit on. I would give the new rug 5 stars but am deducting one star due to the hassle of reordering and returning and the vast variation of quality. I love this rug. I have used many combinations of rugs sizes, designs, and types in my open floor plan before, but had not considered a square rug for the living room area until now. The radiating, symmetrical design works perfectly in a square rug, and fits with my contemporary space just right. I abandoned the couch, used four comfy stylish chairs for the corners, and this scheme works beautifully, all tied together by this great rug. So far, I've seen a lot of fiber shedding, all picked up by my Roomba, and it's true that you need a rug pad b/c moving the chairs will also drag the rug around, even at this size and weight. But the rug lies flat, stains clean up easily, and it's comfortable underfoot. At this price, and after finally deciding couches are just old news, it's the best look I've had in my living/dining/kitchen open space since I moved in. Recommended highly for the right space.

Purchased this rug for the landing area leading into bedrooms, mostly due to the color and pattern and didn't give much thought to quality. It is 100% wool, thick and textured. Love it!

I purchased this rug for my bedroom. I was very impressed at how thick and heavy this rug is. It feels like a great quality. The design is very beautiful as well. The grey color had a bit more of a blue undertone than I was expecting, but it is still pretty true to the photo. It's just more of a cool grey than a warm grey. The white area is more of a cream color, as it is undyed wool and has some variation in the color. The white pattern is a higher pile than the grey, which might be difficult for little ones to walk on, so I feel it works better in our bedroom. Also, I have experienced no shedding whatsoever with this rug. Very happy with it!

Great quality rug - it is much thicker than I expected. Beautiful color, looks just as shown in photos. Definite would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality rug.

Rug came very well packaged. This is much better quality than what you find in stores. It has a thick pile, doesn't slip so no need for anything underneath. It is super light in color and catches a lot of lint. The white lines are raised so you will need to be diligent about vacuuming to grab everything that collects. I don't recommend for high traffic area.

Amazing wool rug the color is true to the picture. As discribed the rug is very plush and doesnt require a rug pad. Like other wool rugs it slightly sheds.

This particular rug size seems hard to find, so it's nice that Safavieh makes a decent selection of quality rugs this shape. This was a unique design that really pulled our sunroom together. It's a great quality, thick rug with texture from the lines. LOVE it!

I received my rug a little late, but that was due to the courier delivering to the wrong building. However, I have ordered a larger replacement. The quality of the rug is excellent. The wool has a luxurious feel. The price is a bargain for a handmade wool rug. The ivory pattern is slightly raised from the base dark gray color. I wish they had it in a 6 or 7X9, but I have ordered a different rug.

I love this rug! The quality is really great and the colors are perfect! For me, the colors depicted in the display photo are accurate. I don't really see a light blue or lilac color as the other reviewer noted, for me, it is a true, light gray with cream/very light beige stripes. If you are on the fence about this rug, go for it! You don't be disappointed :)

This gray and white rug brought a very modern day feel to our dining room! The pile is high enough that a rug pad is not needed for extra cushion and it pretty much stays in place too! The colors are exactly the same in person as it appears online and I definitely recommend its purchase.

super happy with this beautiful rug! It was shipped very quickly and in good condition. the rug goes perfectly with our house and looks so great on laid on the floor. it has a tendency to look very little blue in natural light and more of a light grey color in yellowish manufactured lighting which isnt a problem to me. the whitish/ cream colored lines are raised above the grey which gives you a really cool texture to walk on. I have received many compliments on it and i would highly suggest this rug.

The modern pattern is very current and not too busy. The color is true to screen. It’s not “dark”. The different pile heights give the rug an upscale look.

high style rug perfect for a guys room

This carpet is very sturdy with a taller pile cream color. The only disappointment is that is sheds quite and bit and the white pile looks a bit dirty. Quality otherwise is excellent for the price.

Beautiful modern transitional rug. Bought the 4' Round for my entryway, but also wanted to see if it the silver/ivory colors would work in my home The colors and pattern design in the rug are very nice. Great value for a wool rug. It's a good 1/2-inch to 5/8-inch thick. It feels really good under bare feet!! I bought a round rug pad from Wayfair to go underneath it. It's perfect.
