I am so happy with my new rugs! I bought this one and the same design in the 5'x7' size. They have a thick, plush, cushy pile, although I would recommend a thick felt rug pad underneath to help extend these rugs' lifetime. They are just gorgeous in person and deserve to be treated well. I've only had them in place for a few weeks now, and they shed lightly like any new rug would, but nothing out of the ordinary. There's no pilling or anything like that, just some extra fibers in my vacuum cleaner. I must point out, though, that the background is very clearly a light blue. On my computer screen, some of these photos look like the background is a grey-blue. There's little grey to them in person. Instead, they're a soft, happy, sky-blue, which works beautifully in my room. I hope you enjoy them as much as I am!

The pattern has a youthful hip vibe and I would characterize the pattern as a transitional style. Great shades of blue not at all grey as appears on most monitors. Main color is a sky blue/ pale Robin egg's blue. True ivory is also a significant color in the pattern. I have pale spring green colored walls I was trying to tone down the yellow cast and bring a fresh calming element to the room. The various shades of blue go very well with the wall color and I accomplished my objective. My only concern and why I did not give 5 stars, is that the description states the rug is New Zealand wool but the label on the rug says it's made of wool and viscose pile. The rug looks and feels like wool with a smattering of viscose. Viscose tends to have poor durability. My other Safavieh rugs have been outstanding and hopefully this one will be too.

The brand is ***. I have other rugs from this brand in my home, and I would buy their rugs again. I rated this rug 4-stars instead of 5 because I can see a few color inconsistencies in the design. For example there is a very slight change in the background color from the top of the rug to the bottom. Also, on one of the medallions there is a spot in the design that should have a splash of dark blue but the dark blue is missing. These inconsistencies are very difficult to pick out at all - they just look like shading - but they are there. As with all new rugs, this rug is shedding. I vacuumed it three times and filled up my vacuum each time. I expect it will shed quite a bit over the next few months, but that is typical. The rug is so thick that it could stand to lose a few threads. All in all I am very happy that I could get an 8x10 rug of this quality for such a discounted price and $3 shipping. What a great value!

The only reason I am giving this two stars is because it was a beautiful rug and really thick, I thought the shedding would stop after a few days, but after 4 weeks it was still filling up my vacuum and it was all over my house, My husband realized he has been sneezing since we got it, you cant even lay on it, or it will cover your clothes. Not sure if it was one bad rug, But i was def nervous to get the same one. The min we took out of the house, no more sneezing!

I really like this rug. The color is bright and fresh and the pattern is intricate without being busy. It's also quite thick, and even though my cat has attacked it more than once, it doesn't look any worse for wear. It shed a little, but not as much as some of the other wool rugs I've bought. The color is pretty true to the photo, maybe a little more vivid, and a perfect match for the velvet curtains I bought at World Market. It's very light, though, so beware - I spilled coffee on it and could not get it out. It's not as stain resistant as I expect wool to be, probably because of the color. So you might want to scotchgard it or something. But even with the stain I still get compliments all the time and really like this rug.

Very nice quality rug. Color was more of a light blue than I thought. Did not match my needs but am going to use rug in another room.

Love this rug! Perfect thickness. Color is true pale bluish gray. I got it for a bathroom. These rugs are good quality, as I have ordered 2 more by Safavieh. Great purchase. Got it within about 4 days I believe from ordering. Will definitely be ordering more for other rooms when I get new floors.

This is a very nice rug. The design is cheery and the colors are what I expected based on the photo. It really brightens up the room even though the colors are neutral. The wool is good quality. The only thing holding back a five star rating is that it sheds as new wool rugs often do. I assume that will stop over time. Would recommend this rug.

This rug is plush and has minimal shedding. The colors in the rug are great and they bring out dark hardwood floors.

This rug is amazing looking! The backgroiund color is in the navy family with a nice variety of dark and light gray and cream details in the design. It does need a lot of vacuuming at the beginning due to the fact that it's wool but that is to be expected. It is thick and plush and makes my room pop. Don't hesitate to buy it. I bought the thick rug pad to put under it and recommend doing so.

Very nice rug. Colors were as advertised and quality was great! Make sure you have door height as it is fairly thick. It didn't work for my bathroom due to the door not closing so I'm using it in front of my patio door because this rug is too nice to return! Great price for the quality too.

This rug appears quite grey in the pictures online, but it actually more on the blue side. Ended up returning it because the color wasn't what I expected.

This rug feels and looks very well made and of good quality. It is extremely soft under foot. The color base color has a slight green/blue/grey look as opposed to the blue/grey that I saw online. I have had the rug about 2 weeks and have vacuumed 3 times since. It is shedding as I would expect, but not a great deal. I would highly recommend this rug.

I liked the design of this rug but the color on my monitor made it look almost black. But the rug in my space was a denim blue grey rug. I have to return them, rats!

I love the soft blue/grey/green colors that Safavieh produces, this rug is a perfect has worn beautifully and is a great subtle accent to any bedroom or sunroom. I always buy wool because it cleans like a dream, spots are easily removed!
