So worth it! Beautiful light blue rug.
I am so happy with my new rugs! I bought this one and the same design in the 5'x7' size. They have a thick, plush, cushy pile, although I would recommend a thick felt rug pad underneath to help extend these rugs' lifetime. They are just gorgeous in person and deserve to be treated well. I've only had them in place for a few weeks now, and they shed lightly like any new rug would, but nothing out of the ordinary. There's no pilling or anything like that, just some extra fibers in my vacuum cleaner. I must point out, though, that the background is very clearly a light blue. On my computer screen, some of these photos look like the background is a grey-blue. There's little grey to them in person. Instead, they're a soft, happy, sky-blue, which works beautifully in my room. I hope you enjoy them as much as I am!

The pattern has a youthful hip vibe and I would characterize the pattern as a transitional style. Great shades of blue not at all grey as appears on most monitors. Main color is a sky blue/ pale Robin egg's blue. True ivory is also a significant color in the pattern. I have pale spring green colored walls I was trying to tone down the yellow cast and bring a fresh calming element to the room. The various shades of blue go very well with the wall color and I accomplished my objective. My only concern and why I did not give 5 stars, is that the description states the rug is New Zealand wool but the label on the rug says it's made of wool and viscose pile. The rug looks and feels like wool with a smattering of viscose. Viscose tends to have poor durability. My other Safavieh rugs have been outstanding and hopefully this one will be too.

High quality Safavieh rug
The brand is ***. I have other rugs from this brand in my home, and I would buy their rugs again. I rated this rug 4-stars instead of 5 because I can see a few color inconsistencies in the design. For example there is a very slight change in the background color from the top of the rug to the bottom. Also, on one of the medallions there is a spot in the design that should have a splash of dark blue but the dark blue is missing. These inconsistencies are very difficult to pick out at all - they just look like shading - but they are there. As with all new rugs, this rug is shedding. I vacuumed it three times and filled up my vacuum each time. I expect it will shed quite a bit over the next few months, but that is typical. The rug is so thick that it could stand to lose a few threads. All in all I am very happy that I could get an 8x10 rug of this quality for such a discounted price and $3 shipping. What a great value!

Sheds like crazy
The only reason I am giving this two stars is because it was a beautiful rug and really thick, I thought the shedding would stop after a few days, but after 4 weeks it was still filling up my vacuum and it was all over my house, My husband realized he has been sneezing since we got it, you cant even lay on it, or it will cover your clothes. Not sure if it was one bad rug, But i was def nervous to get the same one. The min we took out of the house, no more sneezing!

Color is off
This rug appears quite grey in the pictures online, but it actually more on the blue side. Ended up returning it because the color wasn't what I expected.

I love the colors of this rug. I put it in my dining room and simply pulls the room together. This rug is thick. I would definitely recommend it.
