The Safavieh Dip Dye Watercolor Grey and Ivory wool rug is stunning. I love the geometric pattern and worn vintage look it creates in my clients living room.
The quality of the rug was awesome and we are pleased with that but the rug is actually much closer to navy blue. It is not at all the grey color in the picture. We had to put it in a different room than we bought it for. I wish picture reflected the correct color.
This is a beautiful rug. The dip dye isn't as noticeable as I was hoping, but it is there in a few spots on my 8' x 10' rug. Our problem is that the rug has been shedding non-stop since it was placed in my study (not high traffic) for the past three weeks. The shedding has not lessened yet. I will report back when/if it does.
A keeper! I read the reviews for the dip dyed Alana wool rug. Some mentioned blotchiness and others like the style. I ordered the beige/ivory round rug for my entry area. It’s not a traditional style but I wanted something neutral with special interest. It’s a unique look with an antique tie-dye vibe. I think it looks better than the pictures - and the look is exactly as I hoped. I gave it four stars - only because it emits a strong odor from the die process. I’m sure this will dissipate with time.
Beautiful design and color. I love the "dip dye watercolor " vintage effect.
I am so pleased with this rug. Great quality. While it is wool it's not like a pile rug. Look closely at the photos. I think it's wonderful and highly recommend it. This is the third area rug I've purchased from overstock and am extremely satisfied with all three. Great price and quality (I always purchase wool).
This rug is stunning! I absolutely love the vintage watercolor! It is exact as the picture. Fast delivery and well packaged. I lovvvve this rug!
Lovely weight. The dip dye makes the rug look hand made.
Beautiful design, and excellent quality! I love Safavieh rugs!! We’ve purchased this rug in teal and yellow. Both colors are accurately depicted in the photos. Thank you, Overstock!
Truly surprised at the quality of this rug especially for the price. Edges were nicely finishes, tufting was tight/in good shape and color is perfect - a slightly warm, medium to light beige with cream accents. Has a "tea stained" effect that adds some interest. While not a plush rug, it's got enough "depth" to not feel like you're sitting on a hard floor. In person, pattern is larger than it looks in the Overstock photo, but works really well in my family room.
I don't care for the dip dye but the quality of the rug is very good.
Beautiful nice quality rug. I bought this in grey and the color ended up being blue so I reordered it in beige. While the color of this one is accurate, the dip dye on this one was uneven and 1/5 of it on one side was noticeably darker than the rest. Fortunately I got this to go under a recliner and do I was able to put that side next to the wall....2 mos later... still like rug but I have to agree with others, the wool in this carpet constantly pills like crazy... fast forward...I have had this rug for 9 mos. and the pilling only gets worse with time. As I now watch 7 mo. & 9 mo. Old grandbabies who crawl I had to take this up.
I love this rug. Like the handmade dyeing which makes it look vintage. Perfect size for my laundry room. Thick pile which makes the rug look like it cost much more than it did.
This rug is beoutiful. The dip dye color variations make it versatile and go with many shades of, beige, ivory, taupe, or gray. We're very happy with our purchase.
Our dining room is a little oddly-shaped since it's part of a great room, and this 6'x9' rug was the perfect fit. We wanted something neutral but interesting, and although I wasn't sure about the faded look at first, I love it now. I thought maybe the picture was playing tricks with my brain, but it really is a little faded in some places - just adds to the laid-back, unpretentious feel to me though! It took a little longer than I would've liked to uncurl after we rolled it out, but after placing some weights on top of the corners, it started to level out. I like that it's not plush since a dining room rug could have some spills, so it seems like it would be easy to clean.
Love this rug. Brightens up my living room. It does shed, but not nearly as bad as other wool rugs that I've had. Love the dip dye effect. Makes the rug look soft and inviting
This rug is great for under our king size bed. It is very thick and great quality for the price. It was heavy to maneuver around the room. Will definitely need two people to move.
Our family of 5 small children has beat up on this rug for the last year or so and it’s held up well. Seems easy to clean and nothing is better than wool! Definitely needs a thick rug pad to make it feel soft. Lots of shedding, but it slows down over time.... still hasn’t totally gone away. I already did recommend it to a friend
This is the second Safavieh rug we've purchased and we love them both. Love the look and the feel for our family room. The rug feels very high quality. Highly recommend. Color is true to the picture on Overstock.
