I was very hesitant about ordering this rug. I watched it for over a month and finally decided to purchase it. I have no regrets! It arrived sooner than the anticipated delivery date. It had an odor (chemical smell) to it but it wore off within a few days. It's not a very soft rug, but it's soft enough. It shed a little as well. However, it wasn't excessive. The background is beige, not white. I was expecting the background to be lighter, but it works in my space. I hope the pictures help! That usually put my mind more at ease when purchasing online.

I have been looking for an area rug for our bedroom for almost two years. There have been candidates, but nothing that wowed me. This rug was an accidental find a week ago while checking my email. The picture, the price, then the reviews all sold me. Ordering on Overstock is easy, and shipping was free. FedEx had it at my door three days after ordering. The rug was well wrapped to protect it from dirt and moisture in transit. I found no unpleasant odor once the package was unwrapped as some reviewers mentioned. This is a wool rug with a nice tight weave, and I just love the unique pattern. We used a strong double side tape to hold down the edges and we're good to go!

I really like these Safavieh dip dye rugs. This is my third green dip dye and they are all unique and striking to behold. So many compliments on designs and coloring. I wish I could wallpaper my house with them! Thank you, Overstock, for another great purchase.

This is my third Safavieh Rug and my second from the dip-dye collection. absolutely beautiful. Even though it is generally a lighter colored rug, it has held up beautifully. A real statement piece for the modern at heart

I love Safavieh rugs and have bought multiple of this brand now. I have the red and white one in my kitchen also because I wasnt sure which one I wanted to go with. The black and white is my favorite. The dip dye effect is my favorite. The wool rugs shed quite a bit for a while but they also hold up very well long term. This is just part of the material and to be expected. The pile stays firm and the dip dye ages well. Recommend.

1 Year Review - we use this rug under our kitchen table and we have 2 large dogs so it does NOT get used "gently." I'm happy to report that it has held up really well! Just clipped some small strands that had come loose (from vacuuming? the dogs?) but, other than that, this rug looks great! In person, it looks just as it does on the website and the dip-dye effect is stylish and modern w/o being over the top. I just ordered 2 more dip-dye rugs for my entry hall and kitchen island area bc I'm so happy with this one.

Well, very disappointed with Overstock. I have purchased this rug in 11x15 thinking I was buying the rug with the big patter on it but when I received it in the mail it had the small patterns. The color did not match the color I believed the picture was portraying, which was a more grayer color, in person it is actually more blue/indigo color. Also, this rug sheds a lot more that I anticipated. I really thought because it is low pile rug it would help with the shedding since I have allergies and avoid high pile rugs. However, if you sit on the floor your clothes will get covered with the rug particles. I did call Overstock and to return it costs me over *** shipping. Wow! I was pretty disappointed. So, now I am stock with it and will just have to deal with the shedding.

I can't say enough about the quality of this rug and about just how beautiful it is. The photo doesn't quite capture the subtle shading in the black -- it looks like watercolor paint. It's a stunner. We love it so much we went back and bought it in a smaller size for a guest room. Highly recommend.

I saw rugs very similar to these in Ballard Design catalog for triple the price. Loved the translational versatility of the pattern. Purchased two sizes of this rug, 2x3 and 8x10 for my kitchen. Both rugs are really nice quality. I'm giving it 4 stars because the chocolate color is a muted brown and not as richly colored as the photo online. I still love the rugs and they work well in my space. Wish the color was more vibrant.

I have a couple different styles of these dip dyed rugs. The irregular dyed finish gives these rugs an antiqued feel. They are a wonderful wool with a loop, not cut finish. If you like a cut and twist finish, these are not for you. I am a designer and I love layering a design with plenty of different textures.

Beautiful rug with unique characteristics. The shading in the dye is really cool. Very heavy, thick rug. Well made. So pretty that my kitties loved it so much as well. Too much actually :( They were using it as a scratching pad even though we had other ones close by. Unfortunately they contributed to it's demise. It broke my heart because it really was a beautiful rug.

I love love this rug. I bought it for a rental. I think These types of rugs are hand knotted and don’t shed at all. They aren’t always described as hand knitted.

This rug brightens up an otherwise dark floor. The circular shape anchors furniture well. Bought a matching rectangular one for an adjoining living room. The two rugs create cohesiion in my decor. The rugs shed but are easily cleaned.

Very pleased with this rug. It not only looks amazing, but is great quality too. Love the water color look. The darkest areas of the rug look almost back and the lighter areas are a lighter gray. Looks like a much more expensive rug. Very happy with this purchase.

This rug exceeded all expectations. It seems everyone who comes to my house and sees it compliments it. I had found this rug for about 3 times the price on another website, and was thrilled when I found the best price on Overstock. Great quality, great buy!
