This is a great outdoor rug! I think when I initially purchased this, I did so because I thought it was red - and it was closer to red upon delivery. But now that we have had it for about a year and it was used indoors... the color is closer to a dark rust, almost terra-cotta color. So we are moving it now to our deck where the colors are exactly that. We had used it indoors in our tv room and my son spilled a bunch on it... so we used a pressure washer on it and the stains came out great. It’s thin and there are small holes almost so if you are putting it on a dark surface it may look darker than if you are placing it on white or light colored concrete. But if you aren’t in need of a true fire engine red (I’d call it more of a tomato color with the potential to fade to more of a dark burnt orange or terra-cotta... this is a fab rug to use indoors or out. Indoors I would recommend a rug pad. Again get a lighter one if you prefer a slightly lighter red or a dark pad if you don’t mind a darker shade. Also the lines of the design look beige in photos but they are more cream or ivory colored than beige. Overall a great rug that wears well (my son was very hard on it!) and is versatile and good looking. Great decor idea for a kitchen or dining room for a family with small kids, where spills and food on the floor are a normal daily thing. ** UPDATE: since we put it outside a year ago.. it DOES fade. If you put things on top of it and then move them, you will see a drastic color difference. We have this on a covered part of our deck but any part that gets some sun during the day is now a very light colored orange, while the rest is still a deep rust. We will probably replace it with a lighter colored one that can withstand sunlight.

Love everything about this rug. It's contemporary, flat weaved, very nice grey color. Adds nice style to my powder room. I specifically wanted an "indoor outdoor" for the flat style of it. Its delivered folded and not rolled however and the fold marks have still not come out but I'm sure they will with time.

Very nice quality. Actually using it in our living room because it's a high traffic area and we have a dog. Looks nice even in the living room. recommend a pad under. It is a bit rough but you can pull it off as an indoor rug

We've owned several of this type rug in various sizes. Have used one on a covered porch, the others indoors. Great where they get a lot of wear and soiling such as the kitchen sink or food prep area. We would prefer a fine carpet but have pets so these are the trade-off - virtually impervious to cat scratching, vomit, etc.- anything that gets on the rug cleans up easily. Would also be great for an area where kids play, eat and drink.

Excellent quality and style and it hasn’t faded! Went through a few outdoor rugs that faded immediately but this one hasn’t. Can rinse it off with hose and everyone asks me where I got it.

I bought this rug to use indoors in my living room years ago. I needed a rug that would be relatively zero effort and can keep up with high traffic, kids, and dog. It's still in amazing shape! When I need to clean- we just take it outside and pressure wash it! Super easy!!! Highly recommend. I get many compliments on the rug from family and friends.

This rug is very durable. I have mine for over 3 years and still looks like new. Very easy to clean. The colors are as described online. This is my second rug from this collection (I also got the red and beige).

Love the color and very well made for an outdoor rug.

So I thought this rug would be tan in color when I got it, however it’s more multicolored with grays and maybe greens mixed in. I still love it as it still works for our decor. Yesterday my kids accidentally dropped a bowl full of spaghetti on it. I quickly took it outside and hosed it off, I did you some Sol-U-Mel and rinsed it a second time and it looks good as new. Not sure the cleaner I did was necessary but overall I’m very pleased with the product and will buy again. The picture I included is in natural light so you have an idea of coloring.

I purchased two of Safavieh's Courtyard rugs and, hands down, these are the best outdoor carpets available. The patterns and colors are very well executed and create beautiful and durable flooring anywhere in my home. I use one in the kitchen and one at the front door. In the kitchen the rug is directly under the stove and has experience grease spills, tomato sauce, you name it. And, I swear it cleans right up and back to new. Care instructions indicate cleaning with broom, vacuum or garden hose, but I've gone way beyond those methods when cleaning these rugs. I wash them in hot water with Dawn or 409, scrub the heck out them with a firm bristle brush and the weave holds up beautifully. Remarkably, I soaked one in a diluted bleach bath during Spring cleaning and there was no fading or disturbance to fibers. Amazing.

I purchased this rug for my new screened in deck and it did not disappoint! It is BETTER than I expected! The quality is great for an outdoor rug (I wouldn’t use it in the interior). I would definitely recommend it!!

Another great Safavieh rug to add to my collection. This rug is on my covered patio and has endured the heat of the desert weather and the cold of winter. I just simply rinse with the hose and air dry when it needs to be cleaned. Highly recommended.
