I bought this huge indoor/outdoor rug for my dining room. I was prepared to be disappointed with something about it, but I am very happy with it. The quality is way better than I had anticipated! The background color is more neutral than I had hoped...it looked a bit yellow on my computer...and even my husband (who put it down when I was at work) said it wasn't smelly like some less expensive rugs and it wasn't all curled up. It has very short loops and a couple are cut or snagged but the rug is so big I can hardly notice the imperfection. I'm pleased. This should stand up to the grandkid and dogs and all the messes that we seem to make in the dining room. It even was shipped quickly!

I have nothing but glowing reviews for this rug! First, it is a Safavieh Rug, an Indoor / Outdoor Rug but Safavieh none the less. Second, it is 7' 10" x 11' at a ridiculous thrifty price .....what is not to Love!! The color is true on my monitor like an deeper ocean blue. The pattern seemed quite large to me at first because it was hard to visualize with the small picture size in scale with furniture but all turned out exceeding well! I bought this rug exclusively as an indoor rug for my living room. Now, it is not soft or plush as a regular rug but I am using it over carpeting so it feels softer. I can not say how it would feel on a hard wood floor, but on top of carpet no complaints. It vacuums easily and hides cat hair if I miss a day. Also, I noticed NO off gassing or chemical smell. I am working a bit of a roll wrinkle at the end of the rug where it was tightly wound around the cardboard tube for shipping. I believe that some of this is my doing, being that as soon as I received it I laid it out and set furniture on it not giving it a chance to relax a bit. One more bit of information, 2 edges have 1 1/2" thick folded over border to keep it from curling which works extremely well and it is low profile that there is not tripping concern but this may be more noticeable on hard flooring. In all this is a fabulous rug at an even better price, throw on top of that the ultra low shipping and it is Bees Knees!!! :-)

This rug fits my front entry perfectly and it looks gorgeous. The material of the rug is great for wiping feet as you enter and it is very easy to clean...you can just wipe it off with a wet cloth if it gets mud or stained. I've had a few compliments already; what a great piece for first impression. I also love the color, a lovely burnt orange against a tan background that just attracts attention. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in every way and the price was great too.

In our house, we have Safavieh carpets on every floor, including the deck outside. This Safavieh Courtyard Clarine rug was for our deck we love the color that it adds. As I stated before we have Safavieh rugs all over the house, and out on the deck they all wear well, and hold their color over many washings. Our cats like them too...

Very happy with the rug. The picture makes it look like a light grey and ivory. Which is what i would have loved. Its dark grey and straw color like a yellow tan. Still very pretty and I love the print on the rug, since I hate persian style rugs. its large enough to cover the living area under our couch and is perfect for what I wanted. Shipping was okay in a clear plastic bag. This is my first purchase from overstock so I was happy with the fast shipping and the good price, a little disappointed with the customer service and color descriptions. They need to step it up a little - online retailers like amazon and anyone else you can shop from beat them any day - but was the only people that had this rug.

I bought this runner for the kitchen floor in front of my sink and dishwasher. I thought an indoor/outdoor rug might be just the ticket for this wet area. If I couldn't clean it, I hadn't lost much $$. The rug ended up being the perfect addition to my kitchen and looks like it costs more than it did. The rug is soft enough under foot to serve it's purpose. However if you are looking for something plush and soft, an indoor/outdoor rug is not the direction you want to go. The color of the rug is definitely sand and black. The pictures for the various sized rugs of this color/pattern combo are a bit deceiving. The rug cleans as easily as one would expect for an indoor/outdoor rug. Our kitchen spills have been cleaned quickly and easily with no staining. I liked this rug so much that I purchased another rug of the same pattern in a larger size for the area in front of our pantry. -- BTW...Thanks, overstock....This was my first order placed with you, and I received both rugs within 2 days of ordering.

I've had a rug at the front door for a long time that has always looked great, but wasn't the most practical, especially with the rain and snow. This rug is excellent. We have double front doors and the rug covers the span of both doors. I have it on the inside of the house. It looks beautiful. I, personally, wouldn't use this in any other room of the house, except right in front of entry doors as it definitely is not soft or plush carpet. The wrinkles came out of it within a day and it laid nice and flat. I also bought a rubber mat to go underneath and cut it to size and the rug stays put. I am thrilled with this purchase and wonder why I waited so long to replace the rug we used to have. Best of all, this pattern doesn't show up any dirt!

this rug is from savafieh's courtyard collection. High endquaity, fine spun fibers so nothing like sisal or jute. This insnt a soft plush wool rug, its made to withstand foyer like foot traffic in areas that may be exposed to moisture. I have these in my foyer and kitchen. If your looking for a strong lasting easy to clean rugthat does not look cheap then proceed and buy. You will need a rug pad. I actually found it cheaper to use a yoga mat i got on clearance. It offered more padding than the regular rug pad at a fraction of the cost. Try it :-)

What a great buy! I bought this to use indoors because I liked the color and design and thought it would be appropriate in a spare room that we use as a craft room. I wanted something that cleans up easily, and the idea of being able to take the rug out to the driveway and just hose it off is perfect in a household with children and pets. I was surprised how nice the rug looks - in fact, I considered putting it under our farmhouse table in the dining room because it really is pretty and the quality is good, but in the end I put it in the craft room and couldn't be happier with the look and ease of care.

This rug is absolutely beautiful and for the price? Can't beat it with a stick...I mean you could, but it's polypropylene so why would you? You can simply spray it down with a hose when too many pieces of mac and cheese or splashes or margarita muck it up! I actually chose to use this for my indoor dining room because I have kids...young...messy kids. They weren't raised in a barn or anything but they have a hard time hitting their targets (mouths) a lot so I needed something durable and easily cleaned. This rug is fabulous! It laid down beautifully the first day and I purchased a pad to keep it in place and give it a bit of a cushion. An additional perk of this rug is that it doesn't have any tufts either (being that it's indoor/outdoor)...this is great if, say you have a rabbit that has a penchant for tufted carpeting when looking for the munchies. As I previously mentioned the lack of tufting also removes possibilities of cottage cheese curds being lost in carpet fibers forever to look ugly or worse (gasp) smell. It's beautiful, easy to clean and simply a must-have if you're looking for a huge black and beige rug to compliment your decor...or a great place for your fat, lazy rabbit to chill out comfortably under the dining room table.

First - shipping was very fast! The rug was well wrapped and was in excellent shape. I ordered this rug for our living room hoping that it would be good enough seeing that it is an indoor/outdoor rug. I am very pleased with it's overall appearance. For the price, you can't go wrong. Due to the material it is made of, it is a little stiff, but with a pad under it, it will suffice. It isn't at all uncomfortable to walk on. I believe it will standup to high traffic and that's the reason I purchased this instead of a more expensive indoor rug. If I decide later to purchase a better area rug, this will work perfectly in our outdoor sitting area of the carport.

I like using outdoor rugs indoors. They are inexpensive, easy to maintain, and durable. If you have pets or kids, you don't have to worry about them like you would with "regular" rugs. This rug is a particularly nice one. I am using it in my dining room and it looks great. I am very pleased.

I've had this rug for about a month and I love it more every day. Everyone has commented on how nice it looks. The quality is super and can't be beat at this price. The rug is on my back porch which is covered but open on the sides so it does get wet from time to time from the rain. It dries quickly and the color does not bleed. The teracotta color is very pleasing. I was afraid that it would be too "orangey" but it is a true teracotta, very similar to the color depicted on the website. It arrived in less than a week, rolled up tightly and wrapped in plastic. Only word of warning is read the instructions on the outside of the plastic wrapping re. how to unwrap. In case you want to return it you must return in original wrapping so you should only cut one end of the wrapping and then slide the rug out. I'm not returning mine!!! LOVE IT!

We have owned this rug for several months and it sits just inside of our front door where it receives a lot of foot traffic. When it first arrived, I didn't think I'd care for it. It seemed a bit stiff and I wasn't sure the curl erin's relax out. I left it upside-down in another room for a few days and it was fine. I love the colors; however, it's important to note that the rug is black and sand, not black and white. It's does not have a grip backing, so it will slide unless you put in on a non-slip mat. I do not have it on a non-slip mat and no one's gone sliding across the floor. I have pets and one of the cats loves to scratch this rug. Initially, I was very upset and tried to stop her, but I quickly realized that it wasn't harming the rug and can't be seen, so I let her go wild. The rug looks very nice, but it's a workhorse not a cuddle rug. It's scratchy and not soft or plush. It's perfect for my guests to wipe their feet just inside my door so they don't leave prints on the hardwood floors. Bottom line: the rug looks very nice in a high-traffic area, great for pet-owners, should have a slip- resistant ma and underneath, durable but not plush. Would buy again. Would recommend to a friend.

Color is dark! I have bought many Safavieh Indoor/Oudoor rugs online and specifically several from Overstock. We have several pets and prefer the low profile, durability, tight weave and ease of cleaning of Safavieh indoor/outdoor rugs. We chose this one for our (almost finished) remodeled laundry room which doubles as the kitty feeding and litter box area. The room is done in light gray and shades of white and I thought the rug would anchor the room by being just a few shades darker. Unfortunately, this rug is much, much darker than what is depicted online. I understand monitor colors vary, but this one was way off the mark. We looked at the rug on 3 phones and 2 computers and all 5 showed a rug that was much lighter and subtle. I included photos in natural morning light and placed a black boot in one pic for color comparison.

The rug arrived promptly and I really like the design. This rug is more beige than pictured as other reviews mentioned, but that helps conceal dirt a little better in my opinion. The first week I had this rug I was tempted to send it back. It slid all over the place on our hardwood floors even with a rug pad. Now that it has had traffic on it for an additional week, the rug lays flat and doesn't move around as much. The rug lives at my back door to the garage and back yard. I believe the material should hold up well to traffic, dirt, kids, and dog. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish indoor/outdoor rug...just be sure to get a rug pad!

I bought this rug to be an indoor rug for my bedroom which had brick floors. I wanted a really BIG rug for under the bed (but couldn't afford the really nice, big rugs), also something that was really pretty and most importantly--could handle my two dogs and two cats. This rug was the perfect choice! It's very pretty (very feminine), it lays flat really nice on the floors, it has resisted many months-worth of animals running around on it, it's pretty stain resistant (again, pets), and it's easy to clean--I just vaccum it with either a nozzle or the carpet attachment and either works fine. It's still in almost perfect condition, if my little dog didn't decide to chew on one end of it. Otherwise, it looks just like the day I bought it. The colors have held up great but I haven't had it outside at all. I would recommend this rug to anyone based on quality of the product and the affordability--especially pet owners!

I am using the rug on a covered porch and it goes a long way into making that an additional "room" space by connecting all the furniture. Purchased an outdoor pad to decrease drying time in case we overwater the pots. Compared to big box stores, the price was great and they often do not carry rugs this large. I also liked the fact that there were smaller rugs available in the same pattern for the door entrances. All in all, very happy.

I have a small house, and both entryways into the house are though the kitchen/dining room. I had a wool rug under the dining table with the main background color being cream. With so much traffic coming at it from all directions, it was impossible to keep clean. I finally decided to replace it, but I didn't want the same problem. So, I decided to try an indoor/outdoor rug. This rug is definitely that. If you are looking for plush, this is not for you. But for a high traffic area it is great. The pattern is nice, and it is not uncomfortable to walk on barefooted. It love how it looks in my room. I also love the fact that when it needs to be cleaned, I only have to take it outside and hose it down. I only wish I had thought to do this originally. I would have spent half the money and would not be replacing it now.

9 x 12 available at super price I couldn't come close to elsewhere. What a deal. Using it in the living room of a lake home and everyone who comes in loves the new carpet and is shocked it is indoor/outdoor. It looks casually elegant and very important, it is smooth and soft on bare feet. Located in high traffic area, I've already had to clean some dirt off of it and just wiped clean with damp cloth. Easy. This is my second rug from this same company, the other also indoor/outdoor and I believe I've been converted to using these indoors wherever i have traffic and messy kid issues.
