Simple Living Space Saver

We had just bought a new house and was super excited to have finally found a space-saving cabinet for our powder room! This was exactly what I was looking for. The delivery was super fast as it came in just two days. My husband found it a little difficult to assemble but it all worked out in the end. The only problem was the paint job. The paint around the knob of the horizontal drawer (an area about 6 inches wide and two inches tall) was faded. The best way I can describe it is that, it appears as if they ran out of paint, and someone went over the wood with "overly runny white-out". We tried kitchen cabinet mark-up stuff on it and it looks a little better but guests can definitely notice it. Had I known the poor quality, I would have not ordered it. It was too difficult to return as my husband had already assembled it and customer service didn't answer. We had a stressful evening so I just gave up and accepted that we had received a lemon.

This Simple Living Space Saver was just what I was looking for to add some cabinetry to my bathroom. You never can have too many cabinets and I am very happy with this purchase. It is made of engineered wood with a white finish, so it matches my bathroom perfectly. This bathroom space saver from Simple Living is sturdy and stylish. It has allowed me to utilize extra space for all of my bathroom storage needs. The generous center cabinets and two side cabinets allow you to organize and separate your personal products. It has a center cabinet and 2 side cabinets, Toilet Paper holder, one fixed shelf and two adjustable shelves A pull-down door at the center for linens. Remember that it takes two people to install and if you ever have to move it you will have to take it partially apart. I like it so much I plan on it staying in place for years. I highly recommend this item because it looks great and has excellent functionality.

I recently bought a new condo. One of the bathrooms was built into an odd little space which contained a pedestal sink and a toilet, and that's all. The builder covered the walls of this very tiny space with wallpaper in a pattern of large palm fronds--a pattern that is echoed elsewhere in my new home. No shelves. No cabinets. No storage at all. Furthermore, there's simply no room to add a cabinet around the sink. This small bathroom is the one guests will use when visiting so it needed a bit of storage to insure everything a guest might need would be at hand. The other two bathrooms (much larger, with ample storage space) are upstairs. Call me lazy but I don't want to forever be running up and downstairs to do a little bit of every day cleaning. This tiny bathroom, therefore, urgently needed a bit of shelving or storage. I began to search. At 75x45 inches (190.5x114 centimeters), there's very little available that will fit into a bathroom as small as my little gem. The width (45in/114cm) insured I would not find a pre-manufactured unit in which to enclose my sink and, so, it became absolutely necessary that I find shelving to install on the 75in (114cm) "big" wall. After a little searching, I came across Simple Living Space Saver's Bathroom Cabinet. I had very little choice in the matter of storage for my tiny bathroom, and so was quite pleased when I happened upon it; even the online pictures were attractive. So I purchased one. My friend said it was easy to put together. All the small parts were present--and there were even a couple extra screws, just in case. He had it together and in the bathroom in no time. It nicely complements the bold wallpaper of my tiny bathroom and also goes very well with the other storage pieces I chose for this space. As well as being quite attractive, it's also impressively strong and has lots of room for everything from bathroom cleaning products to extra TP, from a plant to a scattering of smaller personal items. I don't feel I can adequately express my enthusiasm for this wonderful, small shelving uni. I wish I could add a picture or two to show how good it looks--but I can't see how to do that here at Overstock. Oh well: It's definitely very nice, this item!

The Simple Living Space Saver is a complement to my 2nd guest bathroom and looks of very good quality. It is the advertised size. I like that all the parts were included and of good quality. All the instructions were included. All of the screws and pieces were included. I put it together with help and it took a little while but we had no problems. The knobs and hinges were easy to put on and were even. Also, for the center dropdown door, Hallelujah, really can use it! The paint was very well painted and even all the way around and we appreciate that after we put it together. This Simple Living Space Saver represents the picture I saw on Overlook.com. The depth of the space saver is really nice for me to store toiletries and cleaning supplies that can be personally fit on the adjustable shelves. I like the detail in the doors of the Simple Living Space Saver. I did not like that I did not measure first and the Simple Living Space Saver is too wide for the bathroom. The doors won't open. I did not like some of the plastic shelf holders were a little loose but, once put in the shelves they are holding just fine. The Simple Living Space Saver is not just for the bathroom. After 4 months I have found something great to use the Simple Living Space Saver for. Now I can use the Simple Living Space Saver in my Sewing room. Storage for my ribbon rolls and much more. Wonderful! Waiting for my sewest to see my new addition to my sewing room. This space saver came out way better than I thought it would. I recommend you buy this space saver if you have a need for additional supplies to store and spice up.

I love the space saver, It gave me the extra storage space I need to keep items off the floor and the 2 spaces for on each side of the space saver for toilet paper and the space behind for extra rolls is wonderful. I could not have designed a better fix for me and it is not tall, just the right size.. Thank you!

It's nice but it was about 2 inches too short for my bathroom toilet.

Great piece but I did not measure correctly. 1 inch too long for my needs!!!

I bought this for my daughter's bathroom in the condo we just bought. The unit fit perfect where I wanted it to go in but was difficult to get put together the whole way because of how hard it was to get the screws in. Several of the screws stripped when putting it together and I was unable to put the stability bar in the bottom because I couldn't get the screws in because it was very close. Had trouble understanding the directions at times too. The directions to put the hinges on was very poor and took some changes to figure out. The middle door doesn't stay shut.

I just moved into an apt with a little bathroom with almost no storage space. I had an over-the-toilet etagere in my old place, but of course here the towel bar is over the toilet, so I was thrilled to find this! It was not hard to assemble. I'm a 60+ year old woman (although I have a lot of experience with RTA furniture) and it took maybe two-1/2 hours one night while watching tv. The hardest part was getting the screws in those really tight places where a regular screwdriver wouldn't fit. I had a little stubby one I used, but I don't have a lot of hand strength and those screws are not as tight as I would like. One problem I did have was that I received 2 right hand doors and no left hand door. I had also already attached the screws to the door and couldn't get them off. I emailed the co. at the address in their instructions and explained the problem. I received an answer within an hour, asking for more info (when/where I had purchased and the exact part number/letters). Once I provided that I was told I would receive replacement parts in 5-7 business days. I received (in 5 business days) not only a replacement door and hinges, but the entire bag of screws, hinges, knobs etc. My next problem had more to do with my space than with the product. It just barely squeezed in between my tub and the sink. I think the sink being higher than the tub pushed the top over and everything is slightly skewed and the doors look crooked--the whole thing seems to lean slightly to the right. That did not happen until I put it in place--when I had it on the open floor it was fine. The doors don't open all the way because of the tight space, but they open enough that I can get things in and out. That being said, I love having the storage! As others have mentioned, I don't get the 2 toilet paper slots--I'm using one for tissues and just living with the other. I have my creams and makeup and pile of washcloths in the center, the toothbrush and all that on one side (behind closed doors, as preferred). Toilet paper stacked below that. Some cleaning products on the other. Perfect! Just what I needed! Maybe one day I'll have the time and patience to try and get the thing to stand straight. Oh--I did replace the knobs with brushed nickel ones that match the faucet and light fixture. Gives it a little more class!

This roomy Space saver does just as it's name implies. It puts everything in a place to call it's own. it has a facial tissue dispenser and a bathroom roll tissue dispenser. It also hold extra rolls of tissue on the top, behind a cabinet door, out of site. Both sides, the pedestal like cabinets that flank the commode have adjustable shelves that will hold whatever you wish. I store my hair color items , I dont want on display, adjusting the shelves to fit small bottles of color to quart sized color activation bottles. It matches the three shelf glass door cabinet with crown molding and X's on the doors and All who see the commode room off the master bed room compliment us on how attractive it is. this receives more attention than anything in the bathroom. Everyone asks where we purchased it, and states they want two. One for each of their bathrooms. It looks like it was built with the house. It is paintable so you can match any color you wish. We love it.

Was hesitant about ordering after a couple of the reviews since I am so NOT a handy DIY'er. But this was just what I needed for my bathroom and so I took my chances. The instructions are illustrated and I received all hardware. It took me about 2 hours with a time out to find a small hex key shaped screwdriver for the tight spaces. As long as you have that one tool you will be ok. The finished product is sturdy and of good quality. I would definitely recommend.

I like this storage cabinet. It works in my kids bathroom, but there are a few things that I’m not a fan of. #1- who needs two tissue box openings??? It seems like a waste. #2- be careful if you’re putting this against a wall. We put this in our kids bathroom and the way the room is designed, the toilet is against a wall under a window in between two walls (kind of like a nook). Since the cabinet doors open up against walls, they do not open all the way. They open up enough to be used though. #3- The doors don’t close that great. I added Velcro strips to them to keep them closed.

I purchased this item on November 25th, 2017. It was delivered on Dec 6th but it was missing 14 camlock bolts needed to assemble it. I wrote to the manufacturer (as per the instructions), on December 10th. They told me it would take 5-7 days but 12 days later, I received the camlock bolts ...but only 12 of them. I wrote them again and this time, asked them to express deliver the missing 2 bolts. It's the least they could do after getting it wrong twice! Sadly, they made absolutely no effort whatsoever to accommodate this request. It's January 2nd, 2018 and I'm still waiting! 6 weeks total ...really!?? This item is called "Space Saver." There's a reason why I purchased it ...to save space. Ironically, it has been sitting on the floor of my apartment, disassembled, in a pile, wasting space for nearly a month. * is the manufacturer of this product ...the SPACE WASTER. I would love to actually review it, if they would only deliver it ...ALL OF IT. They don't seem to take their customers seriously, don't take them seriously.

Bought this for our master bathroom due to lacked of storage. I love it. It kept everything off the floor & out of sight. The only thing I don't care about is the two slot for toilet paper. Its vet ackward position but other than that I recommend this product. My husband & my 14 year old grandson put it together no problem. They said it was easy except they lost two screws somehow. Great product Overstock!

I have experience assembling items... so if you do not... stay away from this item? All you need is a very small phillips screwdriver but you would think that they would state this. All they have are five diagrams for the complete assemble but they do not go into detail. ie. do you put wood glue on the dowels? I know that you are suppose to turn the medal bracket in order to secure the screws to the other piece but if you haven't assembled something like this before you wouldn't know this. Diagrams show place this here and here but you need to figure out how to secure the pieces together. Other then having the pieces labeled for you along with the quantity, and the diagrams numbered for you ~ there aren't any words on the instruction sheets. I finished assembling this and the item looks okay but not worth the price. Poor quality for the money I spent. Disappointed and I would not recommend this item.

This is a very good quality cabinet. It looks great in my bathroom and gives the room a unique look.

I didn't have any trouble putting it together. I did have to reposition the stabilizing bar to go under toilet. Shelves rearrange easily. I found it was too low fr the new top plunger flushing toilets so we elevated it with nail in tabs.

Looks so nice. Keeps my bathroom organized without the clutter. I would like additional colors to match my other bathrooms.

Absolutely love this it’s very clean looking has two tolite paper holders in it and lots of storage. Was pretty to put together . Like the fact that it had pictures for the directions instead of having to read it .

It perfect for the limited space in my bathroom.

This turned out great! You will definitely need at least two sets of hands to put it together and my advice is to start at the bottom when putting the storage compartments together. It took us an hour to get it together but totally worth it. It looks exactly like the picture and it shipped/arrived within 2 days.

This cabinet is convenient for storing my bathroom cleaning supplies, bath products and extra toilet paper. It’s perfect if you have a small bathroom without much space for extra storage. The only thing I dislike is the toilet paper dispensers that are built into the cabinet. They aren’t quite wide enough for the paper and they are just awkward when you need to get into the cabinet for something. I don’t use them. Otherwise, I really like the cabinet and would highly recommend it.

I was very excited to receive this item, unfortunately didn't fit in my daughters bathroom so I have to send it back but overall it looked very nice.

We are so happy with this purchase ! This piece is part of the bathroom remodel for my Mom!!! Along with a new walk in tub, this is a perfect addition!! Thank you

Great concept but challenging to put together. The drop down cabinet doesn't stay closed, we had to get some white velcro dots to keep it from falling open. Make sure that you measure well.
