Not suitable for everyday use!
This chest went together pretty easily, but after just two weeks we are having problems with the durability. The drawers are just not holding together well. I bought this for my grandsons and now wish I had gone ahead and spent the extra money to get something nicer. It's made up mostly of particle board and just isn't at all durable. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original packaging, so returning is not an option. If you plan to put this in a spare bedroom, it would probably be ok. If you plan to actually use the furniture, don't waste your money on this one - just bite the bullet and spend more for better quality!

Sonoma 5 drawer chest
Even though this chest looked nice, it was not well made. It lasted 2 years before the first drawer broke. It may not have lasted that long if my son and I didn't close the drawers carefully. They would get stuck or come off the tracks, constantly.. It didn't take long for the rest of the drawers to break and not be usable. I was so disappointed. Being a single parent-teacher, I thought I was making a good decision , but my son's clothes have been on the floor or another bed for 3 years now. Please do not waste your money on this! The desk is not strong either. Do NOT buy this!! I thought I could trust this company.

I am very impressed with this dresser. It took a normal amount of time to assemble as any other dresser of this type. It is very solid with braces for the drawer bottoms to prevent over stuffed drawers from breaking through. The drawers open/close nicely...overall, great piece of furniture in my room.

I've had this drawer chest for a little for a year now. I like the color and it's holding up well. Not sure how long it will last because the back of the chest isn't really supported well with the thin layer of wood. Overall not bad for the price and the dark cherry color is nice.

So I've had this dresser for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. The design is beautiful and it was easy to put together and is super sterdy, the only negative is that wood has a weird smell to it so I added a few dryer sheets in each drawer and now the smell is lessening.

Purchased this dresser for my Daughter, she loves it. Made sturdy, decent quality, looks nice in her room, matches rest of decor. Drawers are good size, knobs give it that little "extra". Price very reasonable, would recommend.

Very cute and perfectly sized dresser for a small spaced room, went together easily and the drawers slide nicely. This is not solid wood so the person using the dresser would have to be a bit careful as I do not see this item being a long term dresser. The materials are thin and would not hold up well with rough use.

There are a ton of pieces that come with this dresser. Be ready to spend a lot of time building. It arrived with a scratch on the side, but it can be filled or hidden when I put it in my room. I think it turned out very sturdy and was exactly what I was looking for.

Beautiful construction and beautiful result! One of the best most efficient packing jobs I've ever seen for furniture too, each piece was basically bolted in with padding to ensure no scratching. Took a while to build as do most dressers, but directions were good for how many pieces there were for it.
