We really do love this stools. However we should warn you that they are 23" high, not 24". One inch doesn't seem like much but it can be. To sit comfortably we had to lower our counter an inch.

Everything they said they were!
I really like my counter chairs by Tabouret! The finish is durable and won't have a need to be refinished down the road....the more scratches and dings the more character and that is why I chose these. The seat is ample and comfortable and I am a plus sized gal so I need ample. One thing to consider for a counter chair, that had never crossed my mind, as being an issue is the correlation of the height of the seat from the rung and the curve of the seat. I am 5' tall and if I bought these again I would buy the same chair without the pretty elm seat. I would get the chair without the wooden seat as the edge of the seat does cut into the back of my leg if I sit too long. In the picture of those chairs without the seat I see the seat nicely curved where as the edge of the elm is at a sharper angle. Again! This is a short thing and NOT a flaw in the chair. I love my chairs and get many compliments on them

The Tabouret Bistro Wood Seat Gunmetal Finish Counter Stools were delivered promptly. The were packaged securely and came with a mini tool kit to attach the seat to the base. Super easy! Highly recommend. The are sturdy and the gunmetal finish looks great with stainless steel appliances. There is also a nice foot rest around the base of the stool. These stools are much nicer looking than other similar stools I’ve seen in retail stores. Order them! You won’t be disappointed.

These are very durable and can be used out doors, however sun and rain will warp the wood so I would recommend keeping them out of the elements when not in use.

I don't think they are overtly heavy. My 3 year old is able to manipulate them as far as pulling them out from the counter and pushing them back in. They are great quality, and we get compliments on them all them time! I would highly recommend them.
