The 14 inch seat on this stool is much more comfortable than the 12 inch seats on most stools. I love the distressed look on the black and it is not slippery.

Nice appearance and solid construction.
I already have 2 of these style stools, which I purchased from a furniture store a couple years ago. With a new home purchase, I needed another stool that would go with the others. The stool is solid and sturdy, which was my main concern. Nice appearance, does not look cheap. I purchased the red and it is a nice, dark, subdued red, not a bright red. Excellent stool, especially for the price. I went back to the furniture store I purchased my previous 2 stools (I purchased them for $**** each 2 years ago), the same stools are now $*****! So this stool is a great buy for much less cash!

I love this counter chairs, they work well with my kitchen setup, a blend of industrial and modern. It’s light and comfy to sit on considering it’s metal. The width of the seat and the height of the backrest are sufficient enough to accommodate an average size person. Although it might not be comfortable for those on the plus size because of the backrest’s design. The way It’s painted to make it appear distressed looks fake. But it doesn’t bother me at all because I don’t want a new chair purposely scratched for real anyway. Overall, this is a good buy and I’d recommend it.

These are great for the price. They've held up very well in our busy kitchen. If you plan on sitting for long periods of time the metal gets uncomfortable.

These chairs are exactly as pictured. They look great at the bar in my kitchen. I like the distressed look. They do scratch easily, so add a coat of poly cover if that is an issue for you too. I bought 4 chairs and they are perfect.
