Brown Wooden Extra-large Cat House and Litter Box

I got this for a second litter box, as my cat is getting older, and noticing her going where she shouldn't be.......this is perfect as it doesn't LOOK like there is a litter box in there. She fits (prob around 16lb Maine Coon), and best part? My dog can't get his nose into the litter box area for his little protein treats! Perfect!

Love this cat house and litter box. It is very strong and does hold our large litter box. Now people do not have to walk in the door and see a litter box and smell the litter box.

Loving this cat house litter box. Was looking for something to disguise my indoor cat’s litter box. This is perfect. I love that it blends in with my furniture and I no longer have an apparent litter box on display! I would definitely recommend this cat house litter box!

I'm giving this 5 stars as a finished product. But the assembly part is a 3 star. The picture only instructions were a little rough to follow, however, after a few failed attempts, I was able to get it together within about an hour. It's great for keeping my dogs from snacking out of there. I'm hoping to find a better litter box for inside of it though. I need something with high sides because my boy cats like to pee up the sides of things but the space inside for the litter box is just a bit too short for the IRIS litter box with scoop and shield. Overall, recommend.

The assembly is a little tricky, as it helps to have 2 people put it together. But overall I am extremely happy with this cat house. I have a regular sized litter box that fits in it perfectly. My cats went right in and used their litter box immediately. It keeps all the litter and mess contained, and it looks like furniture. So much better than having the ugly messy litter box in my laundry room. It does have to gas out for a few days, because of the chemicals used in the manufacturing process though. But the smell does dissipate.

Very sturdy well finished piece of furniture to hide a cat litter box. Came very well packaged and undamaged. Assembly was challenging but it came together nicely with a little patience. The cat opening can be flipped to either side The inside partition is NOT removable once assembled. I opted to omit it completely to fit my extra large cat litter box.

Standard litter boxes don't seem to fit well with the entryways of the Cat house. It would have been nicer if they had included a litter box with the Cat house that would match the overall construction.

Thought it came with the littler box that went with the Cat House. Was a little disappointed by that. Think the listing is a bit misleading - " Brown Wooden Extra-large Cat House and Litter Box". Anyway, doesn't fit my standard Cat box well but the house does the trick regardless.

This is a nice product.. I suggest two people to put it together for a quicker, more efficient build, but one person can do it. It was hard to find a litter box that would fit with the insert, so I needed to take the divider out. The cats have more room that way, and I could fit a taller litter box is there so they don't kick litter every where inside. I also recommend a larger rug to go underneath, bc the enclosed mat does not prevent tracking of course. I use a 5x7 rug and don't have any tracking around the house. When I clean the box out daily, I use my small hand vac to clean up the rug. Quick and easy. Very happy with the product.

I love this ,it's a great change from the old litter box. I was able to put this together my self. It looks good in my livingroom. My cats found and used it amost right away.I didn't use the divider as I have 2 very large cats. In answer to your question,I think you could use an 18by20 car pan. The covers won't fit . I left out the center piece as I have a couple of very large cats. It seem to be working very well for me.

Was not a big as I expected an "extra large" to be but looks good and works well..the instructions could've been a bit better but I managed to get it together. I opted out of putting the partition inside to allow for more room as well.

assembly was relatively easy using picture-only instructions. pretty sturdy once everything was together. needed some time to air out the strong odor but the cats seem to like it; they climbed right in. conceals the litter box nicely and also provides some storage.

Easy to assemble without a lot of complicated instructions. Looks like a nice piece of furniture in any room once completed. My cats enjoy the privacy, and I enjoy not having to see the litter box every time I walk into the room.

BEAUTIFUL CAT BOX! NEVER KNEW THESE WERE MADE UNTIL I BROWSED PURCHASES I HAD MADE. BOUGHT ONE FOR ME AND ANOTHER FOR A FRIEND! EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. EASIER W/HELP....MUST SAY, NICER PLACE FOR THE KITTY LITTER BOX AND ATTRACTIVE AND PRIVATE AND KEEPS FIDO OUT OF IT SINCE HE SNIFFS A LOT!

Made my bathroom elegant. My cat thinks he a King because he has his own space. We are not walking kitty litter everywhere. My 16 year old son Put it together with no help from me! GREAT

Easy for my husband to put together... fits a large Maine coon cat and a picky tabby. Actually hides smells a lot better than I thought it would!

Best decision we made! The kitty litter cabinet is stylish, inconspicuous, the perfect size! I highly recommend this particular box. The screws are tricky, and I strongly advise two people to assemble it. You should also buy the IRIS Litter Box with Shield and Scoop, also sold at Overstock, as it fits perfectly in this particular box.

This is low quality particle board with a very thin coat of varnish that scratches very, very easily (as in cat claws). I cut up a plastic bag and taped it to the inside, then put a towel down on top of that, so that should anyone miss the box, it won't soak into any scratches. It was a huge pain to put together, and definitely needed more than 'an adult' to put together as the directions suggested. By myself, it took me three hours of frustration to finish. It also requires a phillips or flat head screwdriver (which wasn't an issue), the provided screws strip too easily for a drill and required to be hand tightened. I do not feel this was worth the price I paid for it, but at least it looks nice.

I have two cats they both use it. The extra space with pad keeps the litter in the box and the two side doors make litter changing easy. I would definitely recommend.

I loves these cat box houses. I purchased this in white and loved the design. Purchased this in brown to match our furniture in the living room and it goes great. I was a little upset that upon arrival and unboxing there were some scratches on the side but it wasn’t worth sending back to us. Overall they do a good job and keep the odor to a minimum. Recommend purchasing

Looks nice but it's a bear to put together. Directions are not clear and difficult to maneuver during assembly

Looks very nice and just like another piece of furniture; no one would ever know it had the cat box in it. Good buy for the price and I like the color!

Came fast and really easy to put together It is a little hard to clean inside but the cat loves it and his privacy and it looks better than an exposed cat box
