High quality and timeless style, worth every penny
I bought 4 of these Hillsdale Palm Springs game chairs along with the matching table for my game room and couldn't be happier. The wood finish is a rich warm medium dark brown and the leather has a buttery soft feel. The chairs are generously sized and quite comfortable. I like the fact that you can adjust the height. They swivel nicely and you can lean back in them or lock them so they don't tilt back. They really thought of everything with this design. I think these chairs will last many years, probably decades. These chairs blend well with almost any furniture style leaning toward a classic modern design. When I'm not using these chairs for entertaining, I think they'll work quite nicely as a desk, sewing and/or craft chair.

Solid Chair
These chairs are of a good quality and relatively heavy. The leather is pebbled and fairly soft and giving. They are comfortable, which is important when using at a table where one might sit for a couple of hours or more. We encountered an issue assembling the chair, with the pump. The chair wasn't moving up and down as it should. We called the manufacturer and found out there was a cap that needed to be removed on the small end of the pump. Not in the directions. Voila, it worked perfectly after that! We purchased six of these to go with the Palm Springs game table and we're pleased with this purchase. The only reason I haven't rated 5 stars is that we haven't used them long enough to be fully sure they are "excellent."

Very uncomfortable
Not the easiest chair to put together and it smelled. The biggest problem was that the casters didn't turn properly and I didn't want them scratching my newly refinished wood floors. Donated this to Good Will within the week....didn't want to spend a bunch of money trying to send it back
